How did they cure rattlesnake bites in the 1840's?
Pioneers cured Moast pioson bits by making a small cut abov the bite suck the pioson out and then spiting it out
One thing pioneers did was to cut open the wound, and suck out all the venom and spit it out.
i love cake
The settlers first made a shallow incision about 1/2" deep between the fang marks, then they either used a pump like device (if they had a doctor's kit in the wagon) or sucked the venom out with their mouths... After spitting the venom out, they washed their mouths out with antiseptic (whiskey)
It is different then modern ways
gunpowder and salt
As it turns out, rattlesnakes are able to control the amount of venom that they deliver and they benefit by not wasting the venom on an animal much too large to eat. Most people bitten by rattlesnakes stand a fairly good chance of receiving a sub-leathal dose of venom so almost anything you do for treatment that itself doesn't kill the victim will stand about as good a chance of resulting in the victim's survival.
Whiskey is often offered as a cure in the movies...that is probably about as bad a treatment as any but, even so, there were survivors.
they cut the bite area with a knife, sucked the poison out and spit it out
Pioneers often dealt with rattlesnake bites by using herbs that the natives would use. Most pioneers with these bites would die however.
What can you use for pain for skin burns?
There are three classes of burns. First degree, in which the skin is reddened. Second degree, in which the skin is blistered, and third degree, in which the skin is charred.
For a third degree burn, go to the emergency room.
For first or second degree burns, run cold water over the skin to cool things off. If the skin is not blistered, a topical ointment of xylocaine or benzocaine can be helpful.

You do not have to be certified in CPR to try to help another. It is a good idea to be trained. You need to know when to use CPR as well as how to do it properly. Using CPR on someone who has a heartbeat can cause more damage than they already have. Plus, if you have a heartbeat but no breathing, you can use rescue breathing and save a life. Get the training.

You can also get rid of it within a day by massaging it very strongly, although you'll want to practice that a bit before getting down the actual technique that works for you.

What do i do if i Swallow a small piece of glass?
That shard of glass would travel through your oesophagus, stomach, approx. 8.5 metres of small & large intestine, through the colon and out the rectum. A pretty painful process. Depending on the size/shape/luck of the glass, you could also cause an internal tear and internal bleeding. The tear could be hard to diagnose. You'd probably also have to have exploratory surgery to locate the perforation (I hope for your sake it's not near the colon!), then have it fixed up (assuming they could find it), then spend a while in hospital and pay a mega-load of hospital bills.
So, I'd recommend not swallowing glass.. For your own safety.
That being said, if you already have swallowed glass, get yourself to the hospital, tell the ER doc what you've done and how long ago you did it. The faster they find it, the more likely it is that you'll get away with not too much damage.
When a man does the restroom and blood comes out what does it mean?
That is a sign of a few things. Most commonly, a urinary tract infection or kidney stones. They say they are both painful but that isn't always true. It depends on your other symptoms, age, etc. You definitely need to get checked.
If it's coming out the other end, you REALLY need to get checked because that is either very minor or serious. Blood should never come out with waste.
