What happens if you drink phenyl?
Phenyl isn't a thing; the term Phenyl is an adjective, indicating that something is a member of chemistry's Phenyl group. The Phenyl Group is a functional group with the forumla -C6H5.
Without knowing what exact compound we're referring to, it'sd impossible to say how harmful it is. Be advised some compounds within the Phenyl group can indeed be quite dangerous.
If you meant Phenol, that's carbolic acid, once used as an antiseptic, and one of the compounds that gives Scotch whiskey its flavor. As with all questions of toxicity, it depends completely upon the dosage over time. It is quite possible to receive harmless doses of phenol, as well as dosages that are very dangerous.
When in doubt, ask a healthcare provider.
If u have meant the cleaning agent as phenyl, then the household cleansing agent is phenol.Ingestion of 1 g of phenol will cause muscle weakness, tremors, loss of coordination, conulsions , coma and respiratory arrest.
Some phenyl derivatives are even said to be neurotoxic to humans.
For employers why is it important to keep an injury to first aid only?
More extensive medical aid...unless it is in a clinic setting by trained professionals...will leave the business owner liable for injury suits by the injured party.
In this case, first aid needs to be administered by trained management staff. There needs to be a first aid kit with clear printed instructions visible to the first aid responder and clear to all employees. Have another person call the emergency number according to procedure in your company.
More action than stopping bleeding, ensuring that the injured party is breathing, or properly sheltered should not be attempted by the staff. Paramedics have more training and are specially equipped to deal with serious emergencies. Your staff is not and should not attempt anything other than the first aid instructions printed on the first aid box. To do so will expose your staff and you to wrongful treatment lawsuits at the very least.
What first aid treatment do you take if sanitizing chemical agent goes to your eyes?
This depends on the chemical.
An emetic may bring up the chemicals, and a lot of water may dilute them.
For dangerous chemicals you may need to seek help immediately by calling 911 (or 999 in the UK).
What's the difference between an incision and an abrasion?
Incision is a cut or penetration made by a sharp edge.
Abrasion is a scrape or friction wound.
First Aid must be done so that the injury will be easily cured.
First Aid is really important for the patient most especially when there is an emergency.
There are still alternative ways to cure an injury even without first aid kits.
Alternatives usually herbals are the best First Aid Kit!

If a child is choking you must not panic and you must give the child any liquids to make the stuff that's making your child choking. Make sure nothing is in his or her mouth and then call a near grown up to take over,If you happen to be the grown up and don't know what to do call 911.
well to become an assassin first you would have to buy something to kill with. it could be anything from a gun to a butter knife( i would not use that though because it is really messy). then you have to find someone to kill. An enemy is a good place to start. then you have to figure out where to kill them. if you have some kong-fu skills that would be a benifit if your plan goes worng. And last don't let them know!!!!!!!!!!!! When it comes time to kill them sneek up on them and kill them!!!!!!!!
Zax do go home tonight! i know were you live!!!
The pressure bar increases the pressure on the wound, thus crushing the veins and arteries and stopping the wound from bleeding. The reverse action of the pressure bar and pulling the dressing over the top of the pressure bar multiplies the pressure over the wound.
How do you stop bleeding from a cut?
For minor wounds the best method is direct pressure. This can be applied by simply pressing a cloth to the wound, or by applying a tight (but not too tight) bandage.
A means of victim carry, where two rescuers form a seat the patient "sits" on, while they transport. Works best on even country, with a patient without spinal injuries or head injuries. Especially helpful in cases of pulmonary distress. Probably not viable for long distance carrying as it runs the risk of straining the rescuers.

random Q, why didnt u take the toothpic out?
The problem was, was that it was about 1.5 cm under the skin, I went to the office (my Grandpa, Uncle and cousin are all doctors, my cousin is a surgen) the day after it happened and I saw my uncle, he wasn't sure that there actually was a toothpick in there, but went ahead and gave me 3 shots of local anesthetic (which, when the toothpick was in my heel it REALLY hurt!!) I went in every day for the rest of that week, each day I was more sure that I had a toothpick in my foot, but each day we failed to get it out. By Sunday I was barely sleeping, and cried most of the time, my I sleep on our couch and my Mom would stay in there with me giving me my medecations as they cam due, then Seven days after I first got it in my foot, my Uncle and Cousin came by our house and said that they could preform surgery on Monday, finally after cutting down 5cm and and 3cm across, my cousin got it out, but since I had about an 3oz of puss in my foot it was still a pretty big deal, I went in every other day for about 2 weeks until they decided that everything left to do could be done at home.
does that answer you q?
What to do for chocolate chips in the ear?

Answer:
You should immediately see a doctor.
Your described symptoms are consistent with an infection - you probably either didn't clean it before bandaging it or it's become dirty since. In either case, you need to get it cleaned out immediately. If you're already showing pus blisters (the white bumps) it's already pretty well infected and you should get to your doctor to have them look at it, and soon. If you let it go without cleaning and proper treatment, at the very least you could lose either part or all of your finger. Worst case you could get blood poisoning from the infection and get very sick, and even die if it's bad enough.
Infections are nothing to be trifled with - get to your doctor now.

What will you do if your younger sister cuts her finger with a knife?
It depends on the severity of the cut. For shallow cuts, wash under running cold water, then dab with a liquid antiseptic to clean the wound. To stop the bleeding, place a pad of cotton wool on the wound and apply pressure until the bleeding stops. Once the area has dried, apply a sticking plaster to keep the wound clean. For more severe wounds, apply an absorbent pad and apply pressure to stem the flow. If needed, take her to hospital to have the wound stitched.
iodex is a cream you rub on swollen parts of the body.for external use only.
How long should you apply pressure to a deep cut on your hand?
probably as long as you can until you get to a doctor
What can you do to help if someone cannot catch their breath?
First is assessment: * Are they choking? * Are they cyanotic, pale, diaphoretic (which implies a heart attack). * Pains in back or arm? Clutching their chest with a fist? (also heart attack). All these are a 911 call. If it's not those, how about these?: * Have they just completed extreme physical exertion? (Leave em alone and let em catch their breath). * Are they emotinally distraught? (See if they can relax on their own). * Do they seem to be hyperventilating? (Breathing super duper fast (40+ per minute) but otherwise seem okay? With hyperventilation, you can try the venerable "let em breathe into a paper bag" trick (assuming you carry paper bags around), so they can catch up on CO2 content. The truth is I don't like this method though, and I don't personally trust it. Given time, hyperventilation will stop on its own just fine, one way or another. I've never heard of a death from hyperventilation. I'm happy to let things take their course instead of making the wrong call and interfering with their O2 uptake when they need it most. All through this, you need to be watching for the situation to get more acute. If they develop a blocked airway, stop breathing, suffer a heart attack, your whole plan changes and you need to move with it.
What if the stiches is on the bottom of foot how long before you can walk on it?
Any time you stretch or pull the skin around sutures, it tends to open the wound and impede healing. Likewise, if you pull hard enough to pull the sutures out, a more serious wound occurs in that it can't be re-sutured. If you can walk with zero stress on the wound and the sutures, you can do it now. But please do be very careful -- feet are wonderful things in that they handle an amazing amount of stress, but unfortunately it's hard to tell what's stretching what. My advice would be stay off the foot as much as possible until the wound is closed and the sutures removed.
