How long can a four wheeler go on a gallon of gas?

It depends on the 4 wheeler, the terrain, and other factors, but I get about 25 mpg on my Arctic Cat 454. I have a little over 3 gallon tank and am able to go about 75 miles before I have to turn on my reserve. This is in slightly mountainous terrain, but the trails are pretty easy. If you plan on very rough trails, your gas mileage will decrease dramatically. Likewise flat, smooth trails will allow you to get slightly better gas mileage.

Is 370 hours a lot on a four wheeler?

Not if the atv was well maintained and ridden by a responsible rider. As long as the maintenance was done regularly, Atvs can last for a very long time. I have seen atv's with over 2000 hours riding around like new. Now some mud boggers can have an atv that needs to be rebuilt after 100 hours depending on what they were doing and if water gets in the engine. Find out how many miles are on it and if it was sunk in the mud. Dividing the miles by the number of hours can show you how hard the atv was ridden. 15000 miles divided by 370 is averaging 40 mph, ridden hard. 2000 divided by 370 is about 5 mph on average, ridden easy. If it was me i would look at the miles and condition. If it was on the 2000 mile side i would pick it up, given that it was well maintained.

How do you adjust the valves on ATV 1995 300 Honda 4 wheeler?

First, make sure the piston is in top dead center position on the compression stroke. There are two inspection holes to the left of the motor that you should remove. Through the bigger hole you can turn the crank and through the smaller hole you can see the outside of the stator with two marks, T and F. Crank the engine until the T mark is on the line. You can easily adjst the valves with a wrench when the engine is in this position and when it is cold. You will need a feeler gauge. The gap should be .004 for the intake valve and .005 for the exhaust valve. You slide the feeler gauge between the rocker arm and valve. There should be some resistance when you do this but not much.
