that knocking sound could be the connecting rod knocking because of the bearing being warn out do to low oil pressure or no oil all together. also it could just be the valves. some people hear the valves ticking and think its knocking. i have had many friends think that. valves ticking is a simple fix. just look up how the valves are suppose to be adjusted then take off the valve covers and with a feeler gauge measure how big the gap is.

THERE IS NO ADJUSTMENT YOU CAN MAKE. IT IS AN INTERNAL FAILURE IN THE CLUSTER ITSELF. ME AND YOU DO NOT HAVE THE TOOLS TO FIX IT. THE CLUSTER NEEDS TO BE REMOVED SENT OUT AND REPAIRED.

you have to be 16 but no one realy follows the rules aslong as your not on the open road or in town if you live out in the country you could drive on the road but not in the city

The best place to find a cheaper four wheeler is from personal sellers at websites like Craigslist. Most ATV companies also have a used section where you can buy older four wheelers for a reduced price.

I suggest going to your local library and loning a Chiltons repair manual for your year, i just replaced all the gaskets on my 1997 Gmc Savanna, that manual had all the step-by-step instructions including tourque specifications.. and the best part is if you dont grease it up its free!

Any motor vehicle that us used on a public street has to be registered to be used on a public street. this involves safety checks etc In Australia it also invoved weight tax and third party insurance. if it does not have these it is ilegal to drive then on a public street. most developed country would have the same rules.

that depends on literally hundreds of factors, including gear ratios, rev limiters, weight, what wheels, ect. but it should be able to go fairly fast.
Depends on what type of quad you're talking about and whether or not it has a CVT transmission. Some quads are geared more towards speed and some towards torque. With a stock 150 cc quad, my guess is mid 30's or low 40's. Even that's probably a pretty optimistic guess. There are quads that displace 3 times that, and get about the same speed. Even the bigger 700cc or 800cc twin cylinder ATV's are only good for roughly 60 mph. Obviously, there are exceptions and low to mid 60's with a 700cc motor is likely only on a bigger, 4wd ATV.
Depending on the gear ratio but a stock bike can go between 35 and 40 mph...

what is the housepower of the 2009 handa rancher at 420 It has around 26 or 27. But a lot of low end torque for MUDDING!
