With crude sugar, juice of the plant is extrated and gets fermented. The liquid is applied to soil, plan leaves and animal bedding to fortify microbial activities.

I just poured as exactly as my measuring cup allowed, 8 fl oz (240 cc) of Lots of Pulp Tropicana Pure Premium OJ into it and put it on an accurate gram scale. The weight was 249.9 grams, call it 250. 250g/240mL comes out to be very close to 1.04 g/cc. Just to be sure, I checked an orange juice website and they measure how sweet OJ is by brix. Good OJ is over 8.5 brix. Let's call it 9 for giggles. A brix of 9 corresponds to 1.036 g/cc according to the brix charts. *all confirmed*. I am a loser.
