Giraffes have good eyesight and hearing to avoid predators (usually lions) from eating them. Most lions will avoid giraffes as their long legs and hooves can be lethal to an attacking lion. The giraffe is a hoofed animal and doesn't have claws. It is an even-toed ungulate mammal.

As you can see, giraffes are very unique and interesting animals.
