So just fill up the main waher bottle on the fron right corner of the engine compartment. Make certain that the lines are all connected. I juts noticed the washer fluid was not getting to the back wiper. It turns out the hose from the rear washer motor has become dislodged and was spraying all the fluid onto the ground. You need to check the Idle speed control solenoid. You can find that on the top left rear side of the TBI housing. It screews in, and is about 4 inches long with an electrical connecter pluged into it. Also check for a vacuum leak.

If the check engine light is on then you need to scan engine with a engine scanner FIRST.

Well first off, are you sure its the Fuel Pump? The Oil Pressure Switch can shut the fuel pump off also. but to the point. You are going to have to drop the gas tank, the fuel pump is an in-tank design, with fuel level and pump all as one drop in unit. Most part stores have the pump. I highly recommend getting a repair manual for doing this job. Dropping the tank is really not all that hard. But there are some steps that the manual will be able to fill in more correctly about the entire removal and installation of the pump itself.

Open the rear hatch. There are 2 screw in the sidewall next to the brake lights (Right or Left). Remove those 2 screws and the brake/signal light housing will come out along with the wire harness for the lights. There should be 3 separate pairs of wires going to the Turn Signal, Rear Lights and Brake lights. Follow the wires to the brake lights and untwist the bulb housing and pull it out. Remove the bulb by pulling it from the socket. If you already have the replacement, plug it in and reassembl everything.

If you do not have the replacement, take the bulb to the parts store and ask for the replacement brake lights for a 2005 GMC Yukon and give them your old one. They'll look at the numbers on the bulb and sell you the new ones.
