What is the coupon policy of Sweetbay grocery store?
As of today, November 17, 2009. Sweetbay only accepts manufacturers coupons and No longer accepts competing Supermarket store coupons. I found this out today while attempting to use a Publix store coupon. I was checked out by the Evening manager at the Dunnellon, Florida store and He assured me they no longer take competitor coupons. Prior to today, it was very common for Sweetbay to take a Publix or Winn Dixie store coupon. hope this helps.
Actually the above statement is wrong. Print this and always have a copy of the coupon policy with you and of course they can't argue with you :)

If i write a check at grocery store will it accept my check if I'm on chex system?
It depends on if they use Chex Systems to validate the check or not- not everyone does cause it costs them money. We have a local grocery store that does not use them and we can write a check there. It's not a mom and pop store either, it's a local chain of 8 grocery stores. I also know the Ace by us doesn't use them either.

What is the healthiest yogurt to buy?
The healthiest yoghurt is an organic, non fat, low sugar and none containing no cholestrol(they are out there!)If it conatins live cultures, it is even better.
Try Stonyfield Organic yogurt, since it's USDA Organic, the fruit in it has 30% more antioxidants than non-organic fruit. It also contains 6 live cultures(probiotics/good bacteria)-S. thermophilus, L. bulgaricus, L. acidophilus, Bifidus, L. casei, and L. rhamnosus.
And they don't use antibiotics, synthetic growth hormones, or pesticides in their yogurt, they guarantee it. But, the downside is that it has 20 g of organic sugar in it, but whatever.....it's not really that sweet anyways......a lot of the sugar stays on the bottom of the yogurt unless you stir it really well(you have to stir the yogurt before serving)
It also has a lot of calcium and vitamin D in it :) Also by eating it daily, you cut your chance of catching a cold in HALF.

it depends on what position you apply for . i work for the jewel in minooka and some of the workers are 15 and 16. but beware jewel is a bad company to work for they dont care about their employees and if you are sick and miss a day they write you up even if your contegious and can spread what you have . i guess they perfer you spread an illness to all the customers and coworkers. i had a very serious illness that if not treated can kill you and i work in the deli handling food and they still made me come to work even though my doctor said not to. all they told me was not to mention what i had to my coworkers. if you are young and just need a part time job look somewhere else the pay is low and you will pay 29 bucks a month union dues. your better off at mcdonalds or somewhere,

Is ice cream bad for you or good for you if yes or no answer why?
Like most sweets, ice cream is not good OR bad for you. Rather, it's the amount you consume: if you enjoy a little ice cream that's OK; if you enjoy a lot of ice cream, or you have ice cream instead of healthy food, that's bad for you.
Why should you buy fairtrade products?
Because what usually happens is farmers in other countries grow products and ship them to companies that sell them to market stores. The problem with this, because of free trade, is that the companies hold a monopoly of sorts on farmers. The companies can pay the farmers whatever they please because the farmers need to sell their products to someone and they usually are not able to sell enough locally to make a living. And so that they themselves can make some sort of living, farmers often feel it necessary to take advantage of their workers, if they have any. It's in these conditions that human trafficking often occurs. Farmers and/or their workers are often forced to work in horrible conditions and the make anywhere from barely enough to support themselves to being forced far into debt and servitude. Fair trade products meet certain conditions that assure that farmers get a fair price, encouraging them to improve their conditions and pay their own workers fairly. With this money the farmers can invest in their local economy, stimulating sustainability and helping developing countries. Another fair trade guideline assures that the farmers are using recyclable materials and are being good to their land. It also helps farmers work towards growing organically. And when the farmers are paid fair wages, they have less reason to cut corners when growing your food, assuring that your food is better quality and more natural. It's true that fair trade goods are often a little more expensive than the cheapest brands out there, but the good that you do is more than worth it. Also, the more popular fair trade products get, the cheaper and cheaper they can sell them to you, as has been happening since the fair trade movement began. Everyone wins... except the selfish, greedy middle man companies that avoid fair trade guidelines; their profits go down. How sad.
You should buy Fair trade products because it means that the farmers, traders and exporters, shippers, producers and the sellers all get the same amount of money. if you dont buy fair trade then the farmers who do the most work get the least amount of money (5p)
It is better for farmers in poor working conditions because they get paid a fairer price for the produce they sell.
You should buy fairtrade products because it means that more of the profit made from the money you spend on it goes back to the actual grower of the product instead of the middle-man.
How do you calculate the labor cost spent on preparing a meal?
Calculate how long is spent by all people in all activities involved in preparing the meal, then multiply this by their hourly salary, including on-costs (insurance, worker's compensation, leave, leave loading, etc.). If they are not paid a salary, look up salary rates for people of a similar age doing a similar activity in your area. Consider how much training your cooks/chefs have compared to the salary rates and modify upwards or downwards as necessary. If the meal prepared feeds more than 1 person, divide it by the number of people it will feed to come up with a cost per 1 meal.
