The humuhumunukunukuapua'a (pronounced just like it looks)* is the Hawaiian name of the Hawaiian Reef Triggerfish. For a while, it was the official Hawaiian State Fish, but the state legislature changes the official state fish every few years. Molokai is known as the friendly island of Hawaii. Niihau is known as the Bird island of the Moku Manu. It is very hot and humid on the islands of Hawaii and that helps all the trees and plants grow it also helps sand to keep it nice and moist so that it doesn't drie out.
