contact the maker of the exhaust everyone should have a shop manual for their vehicle, and the library should have a professional shop manual(wiring diagrams and more detailed info) available in the reference section for FREE....make copies of the right sections, and fix it like a PRO!! good luck Dave :)

well im not sure but i know people wll put del sol seats in the 1st gen crx's

there is no such thing as a 92 crx. the last year they made was a 91 then to replaced by the del sol in 92. but the fuel pump on a crx is in the tank which you have to drop down from its hangers, and it is bolted down by about 8 10mm bolts on the top of the tank.

check and see if u have a hole in your muffler

the crx si is fuel injected so you can spray carb cleaner where ever you want. but it wont be cleaning the carb

If you know the history of the vehicle, meaning if you you have had it since it drove off the dealers lot, replacing it every 60 to 70 thousand miles is safe estimate. If you bought it used and the odometer reads 100K or higher, I would replace it just to be safe. Hf and Si models have engines that can be damaged severely if timing belt breaks - especially at highway speeds.

check if it will go into gear when the engine is turned off. if it will then it is most likely that your clutch cable has become frayed or snapped. your clutch cable runs from the back of the clutch pedal through to the bell shaped clutch housing. you can also tell if its snapped by finding a piece of the cable, not covered in protective coating and gently pulling.

If the clutch pedal comes back up when you take your foot off it, it's not snapped. It's either WAY out of adjustment, or your clutch is burned out. And if it's the clutch, your car will have this unbelievable stench. Now, if you push down on the clutch pedal and it goes straight to the floor and stays there, it's definitely the cable.

If you DO have that stench, go to Home Depot and buy a can of Zep Smoke Eliminator. It's the only thing I've ever found that will remove the horrible smell.

depending on what engine and type 1.5 is first round 22 and second round 43ft lbs starting from the middle and work your way outward.

this is correct but you start at number 1 bolt that's in the middle closest to radiator then go to #2 which is the middle bolt in the back then 3,5,4,6,7,9,8,10 this is the order of the bolts you torque make sure you do the 1st sequence at 22 lbs then the 2nd sequence at 44lbs if you don't do it correctly you will have the same problem a head gasket not sealing drive the car for about 500 to 800 miles and re-torque the head bolts after the head sets down highly recommended to do so

Check the sensor connection underneath your distributor, its a single pin sensorwith a yellow and green wire to it. On this diagram, its the green sensor...

88-91 Crx parts will not fit on a 86 crx. The 86 Crx has wider lights.

yes any d15 or d16 bottom will fit.

so the firing order from the dist. cap goes like this.

you'll know it's right when it runs good. if it's wrong, it sounds like it's run like junk. like it's a wrx or something. don't leave it like that. it'll cause serious damage to the engine if it's left like that. also, it will have no power at all. so there's no point in leaving it like that.

This could be your clutch pressure plate is worne..

If by CRX you mean an 84-91 CRX then no. They have a cable clutch, however the del sol aka CRX del sol does.

I put exactly 3.5 quarts that includes the amount it takes to fill the oil filter. Enjoy those oil changes!!!

Engine is flooded. Too rich a fuel mixture will cause the engine to stall. Timing could be off as well.

Get a vtec ecu, depending on which engine you have. (P28, P08, etc)

top to bottom Well, kind of. In a clockwise rotation the firing order is a 1,3,4,2. If your confused and dont know which numbers are what try takign a gander at the plug wires they should have 1 2 3 or 4 on them.
