An example of being kind is when, like someone needs help if you are kind enough you will help that person.

Kindness has to do with how you are with yourself. ie. Are you able to forgive yourself when you have transgressed in some way or other? An example of kindness might be that you're willing to sacrifice the irrepressible flare of your own egotistical desire to take advantage of another when they are exposed and vulnerable and simply choose not to...Bravo, a human being.

Having friends can provide emotional support, companionship, and a sense of belonging. Friends can also offer different perspectives, help with problem-solving, and contribute to personal growth and well-being. Additionally, friendships can enhance social activities and create enjoyable experiences.

Advantages: Stubbornness can help someone stay committed to their goals, persevere through challenges, and resist negative influences.

Disadvantages: Being stubborn can lead to closed-mindedness, conflict in relationships, and missed opportunities for growth and learning.

According to Freud's theory of personality, our primitive and instinctual motives are contained in the id. The id operates on the pleasure principle and seeks immediate gratification of desires, without considering the consequences. The id is present from birth and is driven by basic biological urges.

For thousands of years, humans and dogs have derived benefit from the relationship with each other. Because both humans and canines have a similar nature for close family or pack relationships, they have developed the ability to include each other in those relationships. Some of the ways that this works for both species are a dogs ability to learn to perform jobs for humans based on their canine instincts, jobs that give them exercise and satisfaction and humans derive the benefit from the use of these abilities; both canine and human nature requires companionship and each can provide the other with reliable companionship to the advantage to humans that dogs only need their basic needs met to be faithful companions who don't judge or have issue with humans' frailties.

The perception of one's experiences in childhood is the focus of developmental psychology, which studies how early experiences shape individuals' cognitive, emotional, and social development. Childhood experiences can influence behavior and psychological functioning in later stages of life. Understanding these influences can help in promoting healthy development and addressing challenges that may arise from early experiences.

It depends on what you mean by crazy. Ordinary people can sometimes act a little crazy, usually out of frustration at not being able to exert normal control over something or something happening one too many times that they can't seem to overcome or avoid.

If you mean crazy as in eccentric, some people go one step farther in their annoyance, frustration, and otherwise being unable to change something or things that really upset them and eventually develop various coping strategies that make them seem odd or unusual to others.

If you mean crazy as in mental illness, there are a few different reasons a person developing these conditions and they are conditions that the sufferer has much less or no ability to control or alleviate themselves and require professional intervention. Reasons for these are dysfunction or chemical imbalance of the brain, a traumatic occurrence or occurrences in their lives that are beyond a persons ability to cope, or suffering damage to the brain itself.

Repression is an example of a defense mechanism where a person unconsciously blocks out thoughts or memories that are too difficult for them to acknowledge.

The main ethical issue to consider in Asch's study is decieving the participants and therefore the lack of informed consent (however, he needed to do this otherwise his results wouldn't have been valid) as well as debriefing. The study may also have caused the participants to experience some distress because when they were debriefed afterwards and found out the aim, they may have felt very embarrassed and mad that they weren't told about it before.

A advantage will be that you can really go wrong with appealing to these needs, people may not want/need them by are more than likely going to accept them.
A disadvantage is that all people are different so it become harder when trying to appeal to a larger audience.

The theory that all normal and abnormal behavior is learned is known as behaviorism. Behaviorism asserts that behavior is shaped by our environment through conditioning, reinforcement, and observation of others. This perspective emphasizes the importance of external factors in shaping human behavior.

1. Increasing efficiency in workers by specialization of the task among the group, arranging the members in a hierarchy of rank, limiting the ability for a small number to have too much power, and by grouping them together.

2. Giving incentives to those under you to make them loyal and trusting of you and get motivation to complete their given task.

3. The administrator enforces reponsibility and coordinates the activites of those under their watch.

Carl Rogers and Abraham Maslow are most closely associated with humanistic psychology. They both emphasized the importance of self-actualization, personal growth, and the potential for individuals to reach their full potential. Their theories focused on the idea that people are inherently good and have the ability to make positive changes in their lives.

There are many ways to improve eating habits. A good way to improve picky eating habits is to create dishes that blend a food in with other foods and cover the taste or looks or both of that food. For those who want to eat less, try lessening the portions bit-by-bit of what you eat or making the dish with healthier dishes but still keeping a delicious flavour. So instead of deep fried french fries, try oven baked french fries. Same for getting someone to eat more, go along the progress bit-by-bit.

It is generally agreed that alcoholism can be hereditary, and if you have or had an alcoholic parent then you run a higher risk of developing the condition yourself than other people might.

However, this does not necessarily mean it is an unavoidable situation. There are many other contributory factors that can compound the issue, so just because you have an alcoholic parent, or parents, does not automatically mean you will develop the disease yourself.

It does mean, however, that you will need to be more vigilant than most other people, and keep a careful and honest watch on what you are doing when it comes to your alcohol consumption habits.

Alcoholism does tend to run in families and it's felt that genetics are partly responsible for this. Much research is and has been undertaken to discover and understand those genes that make a person prone to developing alcoholism. In clinical research, it has been found that twins born to alcoholic parents, given up for adoption and living separately, have both gone on to develop alcoholism, and studies like this lend weight to the heredity argument.

But popular opinion is that it's this genetic glitch, together with environmental situations and learnt behaviour from an alcoholic home that can cause the disease to develop. It's not necessarily just genetic… these other factors play a huge part in the whole thing.

Snacking and grazing are popular among teens due to convenience, busy schedules, and often lacking structured meal times. Additionally, teens may use snacking as a way to satisfy cravings or seek comfort. Grazing also provides a continuous source of energy throughout the day.

It is important to note, though, that given a supportive learning environment with individual attention and allowing the child to work at his/her pace and preference, a child with mild mental retardation is quite capable of reaching an adequate level of school achievement - sufficient to lead an independent, product life as an adult.
