Never mind, well I figured it out, this was me just being really dumb. Instead of selecting to export as a JPEG I selected to export as original. well to be exact it was preselected and I just didn't notice. I went through a lot to try and fix this too...

I have spent way too much time trying to figure this out and have not been able to completely install photodraw on my Vista operating commputer. This is what I have discovered so far- By removing the import and export filters for JPEG files in the registry, I was able to use photodraw for files that were smaller than 2 KB. What I just told you took me two weeks to figure out! Pictures that were taken with my old camera, work just fine but anything larger thatn 2 KB, an error screen pops up that says that the file I was trying to open, "May be damamged". I'm giving up on the idea of using the photodraw with vista and will probably end up buying Adobe photoshop.
