A hotlink is a direct link to an image on someone else's web server. For example, if you saw an image that you like in one of these blinkies resources and you put the image on your weblog using the image URL source of that other person's site, then you are hotlinking. And, unless the owner of that site permits this, then you are stealing bandwidth, which is unacceptable. The right thing to do, if you are allowed to use an image from someone else's site but not allowed to hotlink, is to save that image on your computer. Then, upload the image on your own server. You can then link the image to your weblog.

To preview a 3-D image into 2-D and eventually clip it to fit th preview window is an operation that is used for example when displaying a 3-D image on a monitor (which can only display 2-D). You can use it to see how the image looks like on a 2-D devices.

I think this totally depends on your system specs, if you have a core i5 PC with 500GB Hard, then you can use Adobe Illustrator CC 2018. If you have much more than this, you can use the latest version also. I have seen many new features in the latest versions and they are awesome but we should go with system specs first. And these latest versions make your workflow much faster!

Open your image in photoshop, then double click on the locked layer in the layers palette and click OK in the window asking you to name the layer. The layer is now unlocked and editable.

I am not for sure about the best way but I know that you can use Adobe Photoshop. It takes a lot of familiarity to efficiently use photoshop so if you do not know how to, you might try finding someone who does. Or you might go to some place like Kinkos or a local print shop and they might be able to do it for you if you are not comfortable with doing it yourself.

In most Photoshop programs, their is a tool bar with all of your tools on either the far right or far left of your screen. On that tool bar, their should be a small 'T' as one of the options, typically on the right side (if the tool bar is in two rows). Click on that, and either a text box will appear, automatically creating a new layer specifically for text, or you will have to draw a box. Both options will create a new layer. Then, when you're done having your box created, just type, and the letters will be on the new layer. Once finished, you can rasterize the layer (by right-clicking on it) to turn it into a regular layer, and you can then colour the text any way you like, even using gradients. But make sure you lock the layer, first!

Adobe Bridge is media browser and organizer and comes with Photoshop installation. Find image in Bridge and select it by clicking on it, then go to File > Open (Ctrl + O) to open it in Photoshop, or right click and choose Open or Open With > Adobe Photoshop.

Sponge tool you can use to saturate or desaturate colors in image. When this tool is active you can set options in options bar (just below menus): Mode > choose Saturate or Desaturate, Flow is rate of saturation change and Vibrance is very useful option because it prevents colors to be oversaturated.
