Why should you not expect a 100 percent yield of crystals?
there will be certain unavoidable errors that will prevent an experiment from achieving 100% yield. probably the most common error will be filtration and recovery of products. the filtration process may allow some of the product to pass through. Also during recovery there will be some product lost. for example some of the products is stuck on the glass of a flask and cannot be completely removed. other errors could be the limiting reactant may not be 100% pure, eg. On hormonal birth control you no longer ovulate so you no longer menstruate, instead you get a withdrawal bleed caused by the drop in hormones as a result of going from active to inactive pills. Your withdrawal bleed will only last as long as your placebo pills at most, so that's just one week.
When you first start the pill it is normal to see irregular bleeding so for the first three months you may bleed longer.

When your oil burner ignites it always starts and stops and starts again in rapid succession?
There are two possibilities that could be the cause of your problem. If you are referring to the flame igniting and then shutting off the problem could be with your burners having difficulty maintaining a unimpeded flame, due to dirt build -up. When the flame goes out and the thermostat demands heat, the ignitor tries to restart the flame and the process repeats itself. If you are speaking of the heat cycle itself being of short and repeated duration in order to satisfy the thermostats requirements, then the problem lays with theHeat intissipator that is located within your thermostat. It is the small level inside that usually has a small pointer with marked graduations the is there to adjust the heat cycle itself. The scale usually goes from .10 to 1.2. Most thermostats work best at.8. It is adjusted by removing the thermostats cover and gently adjusting the slider to the desired level. This can be accomplished by the average person if care is exercised. If the burners are fouled, the cleaning should be done by a qualified technician so that the burner heads can also be adjusted to give maximum efficientcy. Most heating contractors offer reasonable rates for this problem. Signed Been there...done that.

This form of bleeding takes place six to twelve days after ovulation. ( A females ovulation generally takes place 14 days before her period). There will not be a large amount of blood, some women may not even notice any. Vaginal discharge may be normal or abnormal. Normal vaginal discharge is usually physiological and causes no discomfort. Abnormal vaginal discharge may be caused by infections or lesions in the cervix (cervicitis) or in the vagina (vaginitis or vaginosis).
Cervicitis is more serious if due to an infection and it is therefore more important to exclude it to prevent complications such as Tubal Infection and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. Cervicitis of infective origin is commonly due to STDs such as Chlamydia, Gonorrhoeoa, Mycoplasma, Ureaplasma, and Genital Herpes. Non-infective causes of discharge from the cervix may be due to cervical polyps and intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUD).
Abnormal vaginal discharge may commonly be caused by trichomoniasis (TV), bacterial vaginosis (BV), and vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC). TV and VVC usually produce additional symptoms such as vulvar irritation, redness, rash, swelling, and discomfort.
In the case of TV and BV, there is also an offensive odour. VVC is characterised by a combination of any of the following complaints: vaginal discharge, vaginal soreness, vulvar irritation, vulvar excoriations, vulvar burning, and painful intercourse. The discharge is typically cottage-cheese-like in character but may vary from watery to thick. Odor, if present, is inoffensive and minimal.
