How do you delete unwanted calendars on iPhone?

On your iPhone, open the Calendar app. Next, tap on the "Calendars" button and tap on the little blue arrow next to one of your listed iPhone calendars. Finally, tap on the "Delete Calendar" button.

Also, you can delete iPhone calendars directly from your PC using third party tools such as: http://www.copytrans.net/copytranscontacts-calendar.php

Note: you cannot delete calendars on your iPhone which are sourced from CalDAV or Exchange protocols (such as Google or Yahoo calendar).

You can delete synced calendars at their source. For example if you're syncing with iCal you can delete the calendar in iCal and it will be gone off your iPhone after the next sync.

Why are the entry doors on an aircraft on the left?

Very good question.

My guess is that the Captain of an aircraft occupies the Left seat in the cockpit. That has been tradition for a long time for most all countries. If the passengers were allowed to enter and deplane from the LH side, then the Captain could keep watch on the process. In earlier days, aircraft had propeller engines and these had to be shut down during passenger ingress/egress. It would be easier for the Captain to watch for approaching passengers and shut down the engine(s) on his side of the aircraft.

That brings up the question: Why do cargo aircraft have their doors on the port side? I never asked Why?.

---

my guess is that aircraft would be best to all arive at the gate in the same orientation to load and unload passengers and cargo to prevent accidents or "crossover" of deplaning passengers and cargo

i have noticed on many of the modern smaller "heavy haulers" the passenger and cargo doors are on the same side (left), passenger door up front (or same as cargo door) and cargo to the rear (pilatus PC-12, gippsland airvan, quest kodiak etc)

smaller GA aircraft have doors all over the place - examples: beechcraft bonanza A-36 and cessna 206 stationair has double clamshell doors on the right but the piper seneca and piper cheyenne have double gullwing doors on the left

at least some vintage airliners had passenger door on right and cargo on left such as the DC-3 - just noticed this today wilst flying a united airlines DC-3 in my flight sim

----

FedEx heavy cargo aircraft have the cargo door located on the left(port) side of the a/c. The only reason that I can see for that is it is more convienent to access the a/c from the same side as the crew would deplane.

This brings up the general question: Why do aircraft have the Command Pilot sitting on the LEFT side? If you do much study of the history of aviation, you will find that even though the Wright Brothers invented the aircraft, they sat on their patent and didn't share it with anyone. It was Europe and specificially France that developed many of the early aircraft design patents and much of the terminology. Every wonder where we got words like aileron, longeron, aerodrome, squadron, etc. I kinda think that those early aircraft designs had something to do with placing the Pilot on the port side.

to answer the question about pilot on the left = most airliners are certified to be flown by two pilots - one pilot acts as pilot-in-command (PIC) but it can be either at any time so pilot-in-command can be either left or right at any phase of flight - the captain traditionally sits on the left but he isn't always pilot-in-command

How much is monthly tuition at Princeton?

Full tuition for one year at Princeton University is $33,000 according to collegeboard.com. Dividing this by 12 leaves a rate of $2,750 per month. However, since Princeton is typically in session from early September to mid May, it seems more logical to divide the price of tuition by the amount of time tutored: so, $33,000 divided by 8.5 months is $3882.35 per month at the University.

These estimates do not include room and board, textbooks, and incidental expenses, which add about $13,000 to the total cost.

Princeton offers financial aid to most candidates who apply. A student who goes to Princeton will likely not pay the full $180,000 that it costs. He or she will probably get financial aid from the university depending on need, as Princeton offers only need-based aid, and will likely get scholarships from local and possibly national organizations if he or she applies. The total monthly cost, thus, will likely be much less than the calculated figures for most students.
