What is a good persuasive letter to get an iPod Touch from your parents for school?
Dear Mom and Dad,
I have a very important question to ask you. It can only happen with the loving support of you and it depends on my behavior, because you're big on that. I would like to have an iPod Touch. I am responsible when it comes to chores, like to listen to music, and I am the only kid in this family without a music player/system.
I would like to have an iPod touch because I like to listen to music. As you may notice, I am always trying to use Megan or Katie's iPod. My reason is because when I listen to music while doing homework, it goes faster. As a matter of fact as I am creating this letter I'm listening to music right now. With an iTouch if I didn't have the song on my iPod already, I could simply go on the internet to listen to the song. Now not only will that make me happy, it will save you money. I say that because if I ever get bored of a song, and I was listening to it on the internet I wouldn't have to waste that $1 that you could spend on yourself. Also whenever I listen to music, it helps me relax. As you know, I don't like thunder and lightning. So I use my Megan and Katie's iPod to tune out the sound of the outside. Another reason I would like an iPod because when I'm doing chores, I do them well and feel that I deserve a reward.
Whenever we have chores, I always finish mine first and neatly, to your standards. Whenever I am asked to clean something, I always pull through. Remember when you said that when I got a dog of my own, I had to take care of it except for the vet bill, well I have. Whenever Annie has an "accident" I groan, but I do clean up her mess, even if it's on the carpet or hard wood floor. Another reason is because whenever something breaks or there are pool toys all around the grass that needs to be mowed, I go out and pick it up. For example, that one summer, when the pool liner ripped unleashing 7,500 gallons on a white river rampage through our yard and over our new rock driveway, I had gone out and picked up every little pebble. Also, how about when our dogs had I wild rampage through the woods spreading nasty birds though out the yard, I got a long clipper thing and put every single one into the woods.
So mom and dad, as you can see I have a good reason for thinking that I deserve an iPod. For all the nasty things I've done just to help around the house, or relieve my mind, I love you and thing you should strongly consider my hope of getting an iTouch.

Your iPod USB cable won't plug into the iPod what's wrong?
there could be several things wrong here...
1. check to see if there is anything like GUNK or dirt in the long, slim hole on the bottom of your ipod.
If there is... get a paperclip, or JUST BLOW REALLY HARD into there. get that junk out of there!!
2. Do the same for your USB cable on BOTH SIDES.
3. If none of these work, buy a new cable. Why can they touch me but i can't touch them?
Depends on who "they" are. Maybe you have a disorder that makes you become sensitive to the area that surronds you and become insecure to touch. Or maybe a "ghost" might be with you ;)

What does a Logic3 I Station offer?
A Logic3 I Station offers a docking station for re-charging, video and audio output for Iphone/ipod. It also includes ipod universal dock, compatible with any ipod with dock connector.
As with all electronic equipment, how you use it is often a choice you make based on the options available. The best way to make yours work for the use you plan for it is to thoroughly READ THE INSTRUCTIONS in the instruction manual that comes with the unit.
If you do not have a copy of those instructions, see the related link below for a full explanation of how the iPod works and tips, etc.
What is new in the iPod Touch 3g?
The 3rd generation of the iPod touch has one fairly different portion to it. There are only three kinds of iPod touches for the 3G: 8gb (at Apple it is $199 NEW), 32gb (at Apple it is $299 NEW) and 64gb (at Apple it is $399 NEW). Notice there's no 16gb.
The 3G also comes with special headphones, with the microphone attached to them. This feature -- recording -- is new to the Touch.
That is about all that is different in the iPod Touch 3g.

Would leaving your ipod plugged into an Xbox that's off drain your battery?
While I can't think of any reason why it would, it seems to. When I leave my iPod totally unplugged, it discharges very slowly, only perhaps 20% per day. If I leave it plugged into my Xbox, it charges while the Xbox is on, but rapidly discharges while the Xbox is off, for some reason.

Do you kow of songs that talk about losing touch with your children?
Harry Chapin - "Cat's In The Cradle"
Figured it out... this may help you, doing it from memory so I may have the number of screws off a bit, but the rest is correct...
It was windex (thanks to my kids). Here's how to fix it (on a JVC HD-56fn97). The key is to get to the windex before it's had a chance to react with the plastic and leave a white haze on it. I did all of this within 6 hours of the "incident" and the screen is fine, there is no trace of a problem - AT ALL.
1. Remove speaker trim from front of TV on the bottom, there's a couple tabs that you can find by feeling around... press them the trim comes right off.
2. Remove the screws holding the speaker enclosure to the bottom of the cabinet (approximately 6-8 screws) and carefully lower the enclosure - the wires for the speakers are kind of short, you might want help so you don't drop the enclosure and damage the wires etc. Unplug the wires connected to the speakers - the right side wires are black and red, the left side are whithe and black. (Don't worry about which goes where, the connectors are different sizes, they only go back on one way.)
3. Take the screws out of the back of the screen trim (approximately 8) - BE CAREFUL not to drop the screen - the plastic trim will break... this is not heavy but it is a little flimsy.
4. Lay the screen trim (with the screen in it) on a large flat surface big enough to support the whole thing. Don't put it on the floor, you want something that is going to be clean, lint free, dirt / grease free, etc.
5. Unscrew the 4 screen retainers on the inside of the trim... there are 2 sliver colored screws at the top and bottom of both the left and rtight sides (total of 8 silver colored screws) and 2-4 black screws in the meddile of each side.
6. Lift out the screens (there are 2 and they are taped together. Carefully cut the tape at the side and bottom, leave the top tape intact.
7. Use a lint free cloth to dry the windex most of the way... the big spots mostly. BE CAREFUL NOT TO WIPE / RUB TOO HARD - the screens have a texture to them that you can't mess up or it'll affect the picture. Get a hair dryer and blow COOL air across the screens to dry the windex all the way.
Get another lint free rag and wet it with clean water, not sopping wet, but a little more than damp. Use the wet rag to wipe the entire screen down, in the pattern following the texture (one is random, one is circular). Make sure to get the windexed parts good. Use the hair dryer to dry it them completely.
You need to be careful to get all finger prints off the insides of the screens - (oils on your fingers will leave finger prints... I used a third lint free rag to hold the screens with to avoid getting finger prints, etc on them). You also need to make sure you get all the dust , lint, etc off the insides of the screens, when you put them back together they'll be trapped in the screens and highly visible.
Put the screens back together and re-tape the sides so that they stay straight, tec. I used the skinny scotch tape. Wipe down the side of the screen that will face the back of the tv so you won't have any finger prints, dust, etc on the inside surface. (Note - the silver side goes in the TV, the dark side goes out.) Be careful not to touch the mirror inside or antyhing else, you may even want to blow the hair dryer in there and get out any dust, etc that is in there before you put everything back together.
8. Re-assemble the tv the opposite of taking it apart. Be careful that you put the screen retainers from step 5 back in the right order of the screw hole won't line up right. The side go in first then the top and bottom.
You should probably have someone help you with this, a second set of hands isn't required, but makes removing / installing the screen, etc much easier.
This whole process took me 5 hours, but I was going VERY slow so as not to break anything, and about half of that time was spent just figuring out how to take the screen off.
You could possibly put a small bead of silicon caulk along the edges of the screen (on the retainers in step 5) to prevent this from happening again ( a VERY SMALL bead of caulk) but I don't know if that will affect the screen or make it harder to remove the screen in the off chance that you have to do this again.
Good luck.

Does your iPods music go to the iPod touch?
It depends on where you get your music and if you have it synced to your itunes. If it's synced to itunes then it will hopefully sync up to your ipod. If you got yours from somewhere like limewire or frostwire then they might not sync it.
