How are laws made and changed in Iran?
There is a difference between the de jure situation (how the law says something should be) and the de facto situation (how the system actually works) in Iran as concerns lawmaking.
De jure: The Majlis (Legislature) approves a bill and this is signed into Law by the President after having the Supreme Council of Ayatollahs (Judicial) approve the Islamicity (complicity with Shariah Law) of the bill.
De facto: The Supreme Council declares things to be and they are.

Until about the eighth century BCE, the Persians appear to have followed a pagan tradition influenced by the ancient culture of the Indo-Iranian people of southern Russia. Then Zoroastrianism, which also originated among the Indo-Iranian people, arrived from eastern Iran where it had been the principal religion for centuries.
Minor inroads were made by Christianity and Manichaeism, but Zoroastrianism remained the principal religion of the Persians until the arrival of Islam.
Polytheism - a wide range of gods. The imperial cult was Zoroastrianism, the religion of today's Parsees.

What is Iran's physical features?
Answer 1: The Land
Iran has different climates such as cold ones, hot and moist ones, hot and dry ones, moderate ones, and Mediterranean scrubland. Iran has mountains, deserts, seas, forests and plains.
Answer 2: The People
Iran is a rather vast country and there are different races living there. What I explain here is about the majority of people in Iran.
The biggest misconception I've heard about Iranians is that most of the people around the world think that Iranian people look Semitic (black hair, brown skin).
in reality most of the people in Iran are Caucasian (white skin-not as white as Europeans, dark-brown hair, similar to Southern Italians). I have never seen a blond in Iran though.
You can't call Iranian tall as they have an average of 176 for men and are not very muscular (genetically, of course every one can be muscular these days). People eat a lot but are not very fat (as much as the Americans).
Empire of Persia or The Persians.
The original person why replied to this said "Empire of Persia or The Persians", however this is incorrect. Persia is a Greek word, and the indigenous and domestic name of what we know as Persia has always been Iran. It was only until 1935 that Iran was known as Persia, in 1935 Reza Shah, a stern nationalist, changed Persia's name back to Iran as it always was. However, Iranians at the time, like always, were calling their nation Iran.
