keep your car on accessory and turn the headlights on...perferably in front of a building to see which headlight is off center. what you wanna do is pop the hood and right behind the headlight is the bulb assembly...i think that's what it's called. keep moving the light until the light on the building/wall is a line together.

There is a metal tab label on the rear cover with a code. Take it to a Jeep dealer or

look it up on the Internet. Also, you can take your entire 16 digit vehicle code to a Jeep dealer parts counter and they can look it up. I think it's a Spicer 35, I have a 1999 on my Sahara and it's a Spicer 35.

Not likely, anyways it wouldn't be strong enough to handle that horse power, they can barely handle the 2.4

It was the clutch master cylinder. It finally went completely out. I checked the slave cylinder, it looked and operated ok, so I assumed it was the master cylinder, I replaced it, it works now.

It should be on the left hand side by the steering column where the power steering fluid goes. It can be a metal or plastic container which has a lock bar on the top of it. Hope this was helpful

No, that's all the bigger you will want to go with out at least putting some body spacers or a suspension lift on it.

There are adjustinf screws on the top and sides of the lights. I like to get on a country road at night and adjust them like I want them, careful not to blind oncomming drivers.

31" tires with no lift required, if you are planning on going "off road" consider at least a 1" body lift or shakle lift

there should be a routing diagram on the hood of your jeep or right above the radiator on the radiator support. if not on those 2 places check the airbox cover... it might be there. good luck

If you can't find anything on the hood keep this in mind, smooth pulleys get the smooth side of the belt, grooved pulleys get the ribbed side. load the belt on using this as a guide and you will get it easy enough, loosen the idler before you do this so it will fit easily before tightening.

The 1999 Wrangler is equipped with an overflow tank. The amount iof coolant to add to the radiator is slightly less than 2 gallons. Be sure to use either a 50/50 coolant (pre-mixed with water) or a gallon of concentrated coolant mixed with an equal amount of water. You will have about 3/4 inch of coolant left in the container when the radiator is full. The overflow tank is there to hold coolant when the radiator gets warm and needs to expell some of the coolant. So just fill the radiator with coolant. You'll know when it's full.

i had to pull the instrument cluster out. it has female pins which mate with the male blocks on the wiring harness. I used a can of electrical contact cleaner and a toothbrush and sprayed and brushed all male and female connections. When reassembled it never went blank again. Prior to this all the cluster would shut down completely, this procedure fixed it

in my 98, i cleaned the connector a few times and the connection still wasn't permanent. so, i simply 'tweaked' the support that holds the vehicle side of the molex connector the gauge cluster plugs in to. by slightly bending the support out towards the steering wheel, you create a pressure that keeps the connector firmly connected to the gauge cluster. the issue never surfaced again.
