During a job interview when you are asked about how well you work with other people, it is a good idea to be honest. It may be tempting to say what you think the interviewer wants to hear. However, if you do say that you work well with others when it is not true, a job that requires you to work closely with others may not be the right job for you.

A resume contains this information. When applying for a new job, employers will ask for you to fill one of these out, so it is good to have experience and an educational background so that you can get the job.

The easiest answer is to list any 'awards/recognitions' that you have received within the last 5 years or so. Now if you are a recent college graduate - do not list anything from high school. Now let's say hypothetically you don't have any awards/recognitions/etc. You can list any of the following - Ways you've helped your community (could be recycling, community service, giving to charity, etc.) - Ways you've improved a process/efficiency at a previous job - Ways you've helped a friend or love one. You could tell a story about something you've done that shows compassion. If you have a wealth of criteria that you could list - find things that are most relevant to the position. If I'm being interviewed for a Director of Finance position - listing that I ran into the Mini Marathon may not be the most relevant. Although it does show endurance, dedication, and a willingness to perform 'hard work'. Try to approach it from 'their seat' - what could they tell by any statement? I can only answer your question with a question. Why does anyone want to work anywhere? There can be many reasons why someone wants to work somewhere and if I had a company and you asked the question, why would I want to work with your company, I'd give you the reasons you should work for me.

Working in a team environment requires everyone to give input as well as helping to problem solve. It works if all team members show up, bring ideas, and hold each other accountable. When the team wins everyone benefits from the work done. Procedures may be put in place that actually make work easier to manage.

This is a question about YOU not about us. You cannot expect us to explain what relevant experience you have had when we do not know you, nor do we know what position you are applying for. Right?

Your superior's word wins. Having made your case, you respectfully concede and do whatever it is his way. (That way you keep your job, even if you don't want it at that moment.) If the subject of your disagreement violates your sense of right and wrong, then start looking for another position while following his/her ruling. This has happened to me, and you hold your cards close to your chest and make a plan for your exit.

Personal achievements usually have to do with obtaining goals. Many people set goals that pertain to them personally. Personal achievements can be; losing weight, obtaining a educational degree or getting a job promotion.
