If you have installed a new operating system, and want the old one back: You would need a recovery disk of the old operating system.

If you want to revert the operating system back to its factory settings: You can use a recovery disk. Some operating systems have a function that allows you to restore it to a previous state.

If you do use a recovery disk, make sure you back up all your data (save all your pictures, word documents, files of importance) in some sort of external media (external hard drive, or flash drive).

they both play an important part. The faster the CPU the faster it can process the info. The more ram you have the more the OS can load into it and provide faster access. nether one is really more important then the other. No in terms of upgrades, i would go more RAM before new CPU. just for the simple fact that more ram will increase the speed of the computer alot more then the CPU would

i think that they are both good but the bad thing is, is that they don't have disk drives. but, lucky me, i have a disk drive to plug into the laptop and listen or watch whatever i want. i recommend using that. um, i have the 10.1 inch which is fantastic! the screen is very nice and bright and my favorite, GLOSSY!!!! some and most people think that the 11.6 inch is worse? i have to say, i agree. in my opinion, the acer aspire 10.1 inch notebook is better than the acer aspire 11.6 inch notebook. thank you, and good day
