Your issue is probably the hidden screws. Try removing the two cable-lever assemblies (hood, and gas lid?)to the point they hang by the cables, then look directly up into the square holes the cable assemblies came out of. There you will see the two hidden screws that have to come out. Good luck.

footwell , behind the kick panel ( there is an access hole through the
panel )
- if you don't smell gas or see any gas leaking , push the reset button DOWN if it has popped up on the top of the switch
- turn your ignition key to the RUN position for a few seconds and then turn the key OFF
- make another check for the smell of gas or any gas leaking , if none , go ahead and start the engine
