The Mac is the same as any other computer except it has a different operating system. It is a normal notebook made of aluminum and plastic, a hard dive a processor and graphics chip. Everything is essentially the same except the Operating System.

Window's based computers use the Windows Operating System, it is based on MS-DOS which is based on DOS. Apple computers use the Mac OS which is based on both OpenStep and FreeBSD.

Each Operating System supports different programs and works differently as in communication with the core CPU and use of RAM in organization of tasks.

So now taking into account that the actual pysical structure of a Macbook Pro (for example) is the same as that of an Asus K53SC (same RAM but Asus graphics chip and battery are better); and taking into account that the Mac OS is based on FreeBSD (which is free, as hinted by the name); the real price of a Macbook Pro should be 600-700€. It is overpriced and can withstand less programs than a Windows PC...

In conclusion, buy a PC and install Linux, this makes a cheap and better Mac.

Bill Gates' company Microsoft has a division dedicated to creating programs for the mac operating system. The division owns an entire lab of the cutting edge macs and averaged mac desktops to develop and test there hardware and software.

Yes, they most definitly are. Aside from never being targeted with Viruses and thus not needing anit-virus software. They run faster, are more efficient, and are much more user friendly.

When the Alt Key and the Windows Logo Key are pressed simultaneously, a window in the center of the screen will appear, and while holding down the Windows Key and pressing the Alt key, you will switch between Applications that are open and the Desktop.

Firstly, you will need to select all of the songs. Do this by pressing Shift and the down arrow to highlight a whole album. Secondly, make sure you have the item's artwork/video viewer shown in the bottom left hand corner. If it isn't you will need to click on the upwards arrow, which should be the fourth button from the left. Finally, copy and paste the album artwork you would like into the box in the bottom left hand corner and it should start processing it into each of the items you have selected. CAUTION: Be aware that you shouldn't select a song already containing album artwork as the item will then contain two images instead of one. However this will not be noticeable unless you are to go into 'Get Info' and 'Artwork'.

However, many Pwn2Own competitions have demonstrated the ability to hack a Mac in 20 seconds flat. Also, Apple are excruciatingly slow to patch flaws in Mac OSX, so if Mac OSX takes off in a big way, expect serious security implications.

If you are really looking for secure, a linux-based operating system may be the best way to go. Ubuntu 10.04 in particular is very useable as an operating system, and is relatively light on system resources (in comparison to windows vista/7, idk bout OSX)
