In one word: yes. Malcolm X never used any violence in his protests. He threatened the use of violence (in self defense) to deter any would-be violence used on him.

She suffered from poor mental health following the death of her husband, Earl Little, who was found dead beside a streetcar tack in Lansing, Michigan in September 1931. He was just 41 years old, and is believed to have been murdered by the 'Black Legionnaires', a paramilitary white supremacist organisation strongly linked to the Ku Klux Klan.

His wife Louise suffered a series of nervous breakdowns following his death, and was admitted to the State Mental Hospital at Kalamazoo in 1937, where she remained until '59.

She died in 1991 at the age of 94, still maintaining that Malcolm was murdered on the orders of Louis Farrakhan, and urging that he be prosecuted for ordering her son's death.

Malcom X had a strong belief that the black community sat back to much and let the "white society" as he called them, stomp all over them. In his speech he stated that the blacks should be more assertive and stand up for their rights.

Unlike most leaders of the day, he was not a non violence type of leader which became his undoing.

The enlightenment changed attitudes to politics, philosophy, religion, the rich and upper class, dress, the monarchy, gender, architecture, writing, human rights, etc. It basically had a profound effect on almost all aspects of life. It was one of the causes of the French Revolution, which is widely regarded as the most important event in history. The enlightenment started a challenge to the monarchy and to the established upper class. It caused people to open their minds, for example, the enlightenment was the first time it became acceptable to be an atheist. People started to discuss things like art and politics, and challenging the establishment became socially acceptable.

In 1952, after his release from prison, Malcolm went to meet Elijah Muhammad in Chicago. It was soon after this that he changed his surname to "X". Malcolm explained the name by saying, The "X" is meant to symbolize the rejection of "slave names" and the absence of an inherited African name to take its place. The "X" is also the brand that many slaves received on their upper arm. This rationale led many members of the Nation of Islam to change their surnames to X.

He had always thought that violence could fix every thing but then he found this religion. This religion was about where everybody got along and was in peace. But then the people who he had encouraged shot him because they had though he was crazy.

Malcolm x scared people because he wanted them to get strong so they could fight for them selves.he wanted to give blacks get there rights.So he would give scary speeches that would have blacks fight back against discriminaion

Suspicion naturally fell on the Nation of Islam, which disparaged and denounced Malcolm X after he left their group the previous year. Two members of the Nation of Islam were charged and convicted in the killing, though they professed their innocence of the crime. Three gunmen shot and kiiled Malcolm X during a speech at the Audubon Ballroom, in Harlem, New York City, on February 21, 1965. Three suspects were later convicted and served lengthy prison terms. All three men changed their names. One became the head of the Harlem mosque (Nation of Islam), another left the group and became a Sunni as Malcolm X had.

The Nation of Islam was a group in which Malcolm little joined. This groups members rejected their slave surnames (little) and replaced it with a 'X'.

Malcolm x spoke against the unfair treatment to the African Americans. In addition Malcolm X was a leader in the Nation of Islam in the 1960's promoting self-pride and nationalism for African Americans. He preached his message of black activism for blacks only until his trip to Mecca where he realized that Blacks and Whites could co-exist harmoniously. He took his new message back to America but was unfortunately assassinated before his message could be fully heard.

Malcolm X felt MLK's nonviolent Civil Rights Movement was implanted by white society to keep blacks further defenseless and subjected to white society's aggression and mistreatment. In the beginning, before his trip to Mecca, Malcolm X advocated separatism of races. During his trip to Mecca, he witnessed white and black Muslims living together and coexisting peacefully. It was during this trip where "a man of war found peace." Upon returning to the U.S., he changed his ideology and began advocating for integration of races and equality.
