In 1040 the McDonald brothers opened a restaurant named "McDonald's Bar-B-Q." In 1948, they changed the menu and named it simply "McDonald's." In 1954, Ray Kroc obtained the rights to set up McDonald's restaurants throughout the country -- that's when the McDonald's you know today came into being.

He pitched them his vision of franchises all over America using their formula and McDonalds was formed. He founded the McDonald's Corporation in 1955, got exclusive rights to the name and by 1958 had sold 100 million hamburgers.

Lil' Trey, a member of a South Los Angelas based crip associated gang called the 9th Street Locs approached Ronald and tried to rob him. Upon explaining that the Mac-10 Sub-Machine gun, which he had drawn on Mr Mcdonald, was the gangster's most valued of weapons in LA, the gangster enquired about who he was robbing so that he could, as he put it, brag to the homies. Ronald explained who he was, with the gangster starring in surprise. Instead of taking his belongings, the robber, asked Mr Mcdonald to make a double cheesburger and call it 'The Mac' in honour of the infamous gun of the same name. Ronald accepted this porposal and thus 'The Mac' was created. It was later changed to the 'Big Mac' after extra ingredients were added to the burger such as the big mac sauce.

McDonald's, as well as other fast food establishments, is famous for the high fat and salt content of its meals. Eating such food can be unhealthy for many reasons, including increased risks of heart and circulatory system disease and obesity.

For most people, however, eating such food occasionally is not a significant hazard as long as they eat a more appropriate balanced diet most of the rest of the time.

I believe that Fair Lawn was home to the first NJ McDonald's, so presumably it was in the fifties, early sixties. Beyond that, I'd like to know myself...

Yes, McDonald's chicken nuggets are really chicken, breaded and heavily seasoned, in approximately the same sense that hamburger patties are really beef.

An old Wendy's commercial made a joke about it. It showed a customer of an (unidentified, but pretty clearly intended to be taken as McDonald's) competitor asking what part of the chicken was the nugget. The response was "Parts is parts. You see, they take the chicken parts, and put them together into one big part. (His coworker says "Fused.") Then they take the big part, and cut it up into little pieces parts. And parts is parts!"

This is a fairly accurate, if somewhat biased, description of the basic process, though it does leave out that the original "parts" are, for the most part, unobjectionable. (They are mainly made of breast meat.)

These chickens are stripped down to the bone, and then 'ground up' into a chicken mash then combined with a variety of stabilizers and preservatives, pressed into familiar shapes, breaded and deep fried, freeze dried, and then shipped to McDonald's.

yes it is very easiy to become addicted to mcdonalds you even get people risking there driving lisences to get a mcdonalds as they are drink driving also if they come from a deprived place like an island of the west coast of Scotland they can become relient on it.

Nobody knows because there is no such thing as a 50 piece chicken mc nugget. But if you find the price of 20 mc nugget then add $20 each time till it ends up with 20 40 60. So the original price for 20 mcnuggets +$60-10 and there is your answer. But just remember it doesn't exist.
