How old do you have to be to buy a sword?

over 20. that depends on if it is a ornament or a sharp blade, i am 18 and own a Roman gladius mounted on my wall. If you are looking to buy a ornament i recommend royal armories, they are cheapest i have ever seen, DO NOT BUY off the internet because say if it from America, theree are different laws. for example you need to fill out a form in Britain stating this blade will be checked yearly (for safety)

What is the age of carl Gustav 6.5x55 rifle serial number 133984?

The Mauser rifles manufactured by Carl Gustav had the year of manufacture on the top of the chamber, under the manufacturer's roll mark. If this is faded on your rifle, examination with a magnifying glass or the use of a product like White Out may be necessary to make these markings legible.

If this does not work for you, you can go to www.surplusrifle.com, and additional resources there or people affiliated with that website may be able to provide you with assistance.

What did the Luftwaffe do?

In World War Two, not much. They made some bombing raids on London in the earlier part of the war. The Kriegsmarine (Navy) was rather disappointed in the Luftwaffe for failing to offer them air support in the North Atlantic. As a result, the German Navy was almost completely destroyed. Likewise, many people in Germany thought the Luftwaffe could have given a little more coverage to German cities, to keep allied aircraft from dominating the skies over their cities, which were being reduced to rubble daily by Allied bombers. While the Luftwaffe in WW2 had access to some truly advanced engineering, including fuel injection in their Messerschmidts, their terrifying "Stukas" and some real groundbreaking designs like the world's very first jet fighter (Me262), they never really got anywhere with it. For the most part, the Luftwaffe was a disappointing "no-show" when it came to defending the Reich. Luftwaffe commander Hermann Goering was a bit of a windbag full of hot air when it came to actually delivering. He seemed to be more of a self-serving politico than a military strategist.

What is better a scar-h or ak47?

The scar is the most modern but the AK 47 is now over 40 years old, but the 74u is more compact and has a carbine barrel, this also occurs on the g36C not e. The cartridge on the AK is a 7.62 mm round which is more powerful then the m4,scar or AUG. the scar has a rail inter face system, this can be used to equip a EOTech holographic sight or an acog sight, all are great guns but the AK has more recoil then the others and the scar is the lightest and in my opinion the best looking. so you can choose which gun you want but some are easy to use, if you are going to buy a gun I recommend the XM8 as it is light to use and the rounds are cheap... but get what you are more comfortable with...

To add-Ak74u is the best in my opinion, since it is a small version of ak47 and has less recoil.

I dont really care what a gun looks like, as long as it does its job, im happy.

Also, i recommend buying any Carbine weapons, since they are light and average and my fav weps

How much is a 92 yr old German luger in excellent condition worth?

This is sort of like how much is a 1942 automobile worth? Just as there are many models of cars, there are many models of Luger. Value will depend on EXACT model, condition, and originality. It may range from a few hundred to several thousand dollars for some rare versions. An accurate answer will require a hands-on assessment from a person that knows Lugers.

How do you make a rope dart?

OK, first off, you need a couple things. Para cord, *light weight synthetic cord* or just any plain old rope, as long as its not thicker then your pinky finger. A steel bar, find a good quality coat hanger, made of steel perhaps, it must/should be at least twice the thickness of your rope, unless your rope is as thick as your pinky. A large nail, or screw, would easily work. Home depo, or other hardware stores have barn nails, buy one. Now you will need some zap straps. There easy to find. Now fasten the rope 2-5inches underneath the tip of the point on your spike, use about 5 straps. Experiment with different ways of weaving/twisting your rope around the spike while fastineng it. This will make the zap straps have more to grab. Now do the same at the very end of your spike. Use more zap straps, 6-8, this is the most important part. It cannot slide much at all or your spike will become dislodged and dangourous. Now, if you want, get a peice of THIN fabric that is brightly coulord and zap strap it on to the spike for more controll.

What is the value of a German World War 1 Luger with serial number 4481?

Luger's will generally sell for $900-2000. Take it to an older gunsmith or shop owner for a decent appraisal. Most will do it for free. Or atleast take it to a gunshop that has some older-looking guns in it. Tell the shop owner your Luger is a family heirloom so they don't think you'll potentially sell it to them.

Condition and caliber make a huge difference. The most common chambering is in .30 Luger. It's almost ironic how hard ammo is to find for the that popular chambering. There are very few Lugers chambered for the very common 9mm Luger round. These pistols sell for much more. (~$2000)

Serial numbers on German pistols don't mean much because they are said to be false. Germany stamped repeats of serial numbers to disguise it's mass production of arms right before WWII.

FYI: It's generally considered a bad idea to publicly share the serial numbers of guns you own, although it's not really as big of a deal in this case, since it's a gun with a factory-stamped false serial number. Serial number is usually important in terms of value though, so if you post another serial number in the future, post it like so: "75XX" or "7XXX"

What is a 8.83 German Luger?

The Luger P08 was the side arm used by the German Army for both World War 1 and World War 2. The pistol was deisgned by George Luger and went into production in 1908, thus Pistol 08 or P08. The design had a unique toggle receiver mechanism. The gun has only 2 screws and they hold on the wood grips. This design uses close tolerance, sliding mechanisms that does not withstand dirt and grime. That is why the Luger holster completely encloses the pistol.

What is the value of an 1846 Harpers Ferry rifle?

Value of ANY gun is driven by make, model, condition, and originality. We can't see your rifle, of course. This would really need a hands on review by someone that knows antique firearms. Frankly, it could be worth $50, or $5000. In the meantime, please do not attempt to "clean up" the rifle- what many people call dirt, collectors call "patina". There are companies that, for a fee, can perform an appraisal- but they will require multiple high quality photos to do that.

What is the difference between the US Army and US Marines?

  • Yes the US army is better. Any marine well tell you other wise but that is because they are brainwashed. The 82nd airborne in the US army are the first to fight. They are paratroopers. The army's snipers are better then the marine snipers. This is proved by the fact that the army beats them every Year in top sniper. Some people well say well that's not combat that is just targets but this is not the only proof that they are better. For more info on that just simple research snipers. The us army offers more then 150 jobs therefore it is also better. The marines are nothing but the navy's infantry don't listen to anyone who tells you otherwise. My dad is a 13 year captain in the u.s army and i will be enlisting in a year. This also gives me the opportunity to know more. Lastly i have a Friend who is trying to switch from the marines to the army because he does not thin they are good at all. I don't care what anyone said about marines being first to fight all the marines do is brand there name into your head. Here is an example think about this. Your average person said can i have a Kleenex's. But i believe Kleenex is a brand not a tissue this is called branding. When your average person goes to a restaurant they ask for coke but maybe its Pepsi this is branding. Its called the marines brainwashing our country. I watch the news and see US army soldiers walking through Iraq but they call them marines this is branding!!!!!!!!! So believe what you want but you are wrong if you think the marines are better in any aspect. GO ARMY HOOOOAAHHH!!!!!!

The Marines are better than the Army, because the Corps have armed helicopters, (the Cobra), and armed fixed wing aircraft (the Hornet and the Harrier). The Army only has armed helicopters (the Apache). If the Apache isn't good enough to provide air support for the Army, they the Army has to beg the Air Force to pretty please send in the A-10 Warthog, which the Air Force plans to send to scrap heap in Tucson, Arizona and replace with the F-35 Lighting II as soon as possible.
