Yes it will. The Service Vehicle Soon light is for the BCM (Body Control module. If any bulbs go out, like the headlights, turn signals, reverse lights, etc, it will trigger the SVS light. The BCMs in newer cars control ALL lighting. This is why in newer cars, if you leave the dome light or headlights on, you can never run your battery down because the BCM shuts it off before it can drain the battery.

Mine is Millenia 2001 2.3L turbo.

One of the bad design of mazda millenia was they used plastic T connector easily perishable by high engine heat. It is ok for several years but after several years the T's will get eroded and break and exhause air sensor malfunction will occur.

There are three white plastic T's under the engine cover on top of the engine.

Two of them can be easily located, but one is under the turbo system fixture set, so it is not possible to replace this hard to reach one without disassembling the whole turbo system.

It is tons and tons of work to remove the turbo sucks. It is really bad design.

I had P0173 and I found that all three T's got broken. I could replace two of them easily but the last one under the turbo system was impossible. I still have P0173.

You should expect the bill to be $250-700, depending on shop and parts you use.

You need to check the idle control valve, and the air filter.

Just buy a spark plug specifically made for your car. They come pre-gapped. The spark plugs for your car should not be regapped anyway. It will damage them.

Spark plug gaps should be checked and set every time. It is possible that the gap was set incorrectly from the factory, or that someone dropped the box in transit.

In my '97 Eclipse GST (the convertible model of your car), the Crankshaft Position Sensor, or Crankshaft Angle Sensor, is located behind the crankshaft pulley. To get to it, the Mitsubishi shop manual lists the removal of the timing belt. Not a fun job. Since the timing belt will be removed anyways, this is a good time to install a new belt. The Mitsubishi dealership also suggested replacing the timing belt tensioner when re-installing the timing belt.

On a 1995 non turbo Eclipse there are 2. One is at the front end of the car right off the exhaust manifold and the other which is on the long pipe just after the catalytic converter.

There are four mounts on the vehicle, one at the belt end of the engine (front engine mount), one under the battery area (transmission mount), and one on the front and rear centerline of the vehicle (torque mounts or roll-stop mounts).

A lot depends on when it is sputtering. Is it hesitating under acceleration? That is what happens most commonly in eclipses. It is probably a misfire in one of the cylinders. Change your plugs and wires.
