How high to freestyle motocross riders jump?
aprroxiametly 600 metres max and 200 feet min I saw FMX at a smaller arena and the large jump was 75 feet long with the with the riders jumping 40 feet in the air.
My Sukuki 125 rm is a year 2006 and it will go to 75 -80 mph we raced it with an 800 Polaris and of course he smoked me but when he did ride next to me for a little while to see how fast it was 77 mph. They are really nice to have and great for start offs in racing! :D
What are the different types of dirt bike jumps?
Single: 1 single jump where you either land flat or up or downhill Double: Jump from one take off jump and land on the downslope of a 2nd jump Triple: Jump from one take off jump, over a 2nd jump and land on the downslope of a 3rd jump Tabletop: Much like a double, except the area between the take off and landing is solid dirt. Step Up: A large usually uphill jump that is much like a double, except the 2 jumps somewhat connect together. Step Down: A downhill version of the step up. Whoops: Multiple medium sized jumps spaced close together. Usually "skimmed" which is where a rider hits them very fast and goes across the top of each one. Catapult: Usually a very large double with a very steep take off. Step On: A jump where you jump onto a section of built up/packed down dirt Step Off: Often the last part of a step on, a Step off is where you jump off of a section of built up/packed down dirt Berm: Built up wall of dirt in a turn Staircase: A section of whoops that goes up a hill, like a staircase Hip: A jump where the landing ramp is not in line with the take off so you have to turn or wippet of it to land the ramp If anyone has an others, feel free to share

Would 2001 YZ125 Yamaha front forks fit on a 2003 TTR 125LE Yamaha?
I have a 2007 Yamaha TTR125L, and i am currently looking for Front forks for my bike also. A YZ125 front fork with triple clamps and all "should" fit all models of the TTR125, im hoping atleast. If your thinking of Re-doing the front end, the YZ125 is the best Choice. "NOTE" you will need a modified rear shock to balance out the setup of the front suspension or the bike will be unstable. YZ85 is to small, and YZ250 is probably to big. To be safe getting the front redone, install a stiffer shock(not just the spring) the whole shock, must be atleast 45% stiffer atleast!! Or take the bike to a shop, and get the rear shock redone, and modified for about $150 tops. Having a soft saggy rear setup with a stiffer MX style front is not safe!!!!

How do you learn to drive a dirt bike?
Learn by doing. Get someone who knows how to teach you about the basics, safety, and clutch and gear operation. Find a field somewhere and start riding, as you become more comfortable with the bike and how to operate it you can move on to more challenging terrain. Safety gear is VERY important especially when learning, expect to fall off or crash at least once. Wear padded gloves, forearm guards, chest and collar bone pad ( collar bone breaks are the most common motorcycle injury) and riding boots. Answer:
I agree with most of the first writer... but I would say "Safety gear is VERY important always from the learning stage to the professional. The guy is also totally correct when he said "learning is doing" that is the key~ the more you do the better you become. I myself don't ride dirt bikes but I have found that logic works best with everything that you first start doing.

I ride ATVs and i learned by doing also. after a flip or two and rolling the ATV a couple of times i learned what NOT to do. If u would like to learn try riding a small oval track once you feel comfortable move to trails

if you are doing simple little jumps, the light bikes of today make it easier, but it still takes patience and practice. if you want to be an x fighter rider that would take a lot of skill and years of practice.
