Culture is important because

When the word "culture" is mentioned, we can think of many things as "cultural", such as language, clothings... etc, because we classify cultures of different places. However, culture is so valuable that it has to be kept for thousands of years,and passed on by one generation to another. Culture is so important that it is more than its distinct visible features, if we extends this to the inner self of a person, to members within a society, further to the whole community, maybe we can find some answers by finding out how they are affected by culture.

I'm not sure the exact amount, but from what I've been reading it's a good idea to caluclate what your monthly expenditures will be, and then make sure you have enough saved up to cover at least 3 months (in case of emergencies) spending without any income. In addition to this, you may want to say up enough for the initial moving costs (ie: if renting, the deposit and 1st month's rent, furniture costs etc.). I'm in the same boat now, and it takes patience, but in order to do it right, and not be squeezed for money right after, you've gotta save an adequate amount first.. good luck!

According to a friend and one website, approximately $1200. is the estimate to ship my small SUV from Washington state to Florida.

I considered having my leather recliner in the back , but they stated that the additional item/weight would add $300 to the cost!! No way. In my rough estimate, it would take $500 in gas, adding perhaps three nights in hotels and food/coffee, and still save a few hundred to drive myself (depends on the wear n tear factor - the 3000 miles don't bother me (Honda) , but just the wear. I'm probably going to drive unless we find a cheaper transporter.

Never hire a truck from a company only based on the lowest price. Selecting the cheapest moving truck may not always be the best way to go. Refrigerator Moving 101: Moving a refrigerator isn't the rocket science most would have you believe. While it is recommended to move it in the up-right position, it is ok to move it on its side (either) or resting on its front. Laying it on its back where the condenser is risks damaging the condenser and thus, isn't the recommended position. Always follow the manufactures recommendation before moving your refrigerator as to the correct procedure intended for your make and model. If you are unable to locate literature or user info on the web, here are a couple of things you should know: Make sure it is empty; a fridge can weigh up to 300 lbs depending on its size and composition. Also, make sure to remove the shelving and store them separate from the fridge. (Or, if wrapped up in a blanket, return them to the inside is ok too.) When moving it in the upright position, insure that it is tethered to a cleat, tie-down or something that will prevent it from sliding or shifting during the move. (The forward most corner of the moving truck, POD) and stack other items of good weight around and against it to assist in maintaining its position while in transit. If you have to move it on its sides, be sure that upon arrival to your destination, you return it to its upright position for at least 3 hours BEFORE plugging it in and starting it up. (a good rule of thumb is to move it into your new home last after removing it from your moving conveyance.) (BTW….the time of 3 or more hours may be enough to allow the Freon or cooling media to return, but manufacturers say you should allow at least 24 hours upright before plugging it in, so that the lubricating oil in the compressor can flow back from the tubing into the crankcase. Running the unit without adequate oil can ruin the compressor.)
