Are there jobs for the handicapped in the Navy or Marines?
Most things that would classify a person as being "handicapped" are usually medical disqualifiers for military service in general, and the Navy/Marines even more so due to the nature of their respective missions. The list of medical problems that can disqualify someone from being in the military is extremely long - for example, Asthma is one.
One thing that can be considered handicapping is Color Blindness, but if you're color blind, it essentially removes you from qualification for any but the most menial of jobs - you must have full color perception to work in any technical field, and correctable vision as well.
It's one thing if you're already in the military and become handicapped - as long as they can find a use for you, they'll keep you, as you're they're responsibility, and it takes a lot of money to train people. However, as a general rule, if you're considered to be handicapped by legal and medical standards and definitions, it's unlikely you'd be able to pass the entrance physical. There are waivers of course, and it depends on the career path - for example, officers with special skills might be considered waiverable, or even enlisted with special skills, such as languages. The government has waivers for anything, so to say it's a strict impossibility isn't correct. But it's better than 98%.
You can find the list of medical disqualifiers at Military.com.

Are British SAS more elite than seal team six?
Well the Army Rangers were around during the American Revolutionary War. They were sniping Limey Brits from tree tops and conducting operations that were behind enemy lines. At the time, they could be considered special forces.
The Green Berets are very Elite. I would compare them to the SAS. It's hard to say who is better. The SAS are good but not the best. Over the past 5 years, 11 SAS troops have been captured in Iraq, Syria, and Libya. The capture in Libya came as a real shocker because they were captured by armed peasant farmers. Also, last year, SAS troops screwed up their mission in Africa and had their hostages killed. The SAS has a long list of other screw ups as well. However, US special forces have had screw ups too.
Its a subjective thing now because I was unaware that there was an international set of standards that graded special operations forces.
No opinion is proof.
However, I can tell you this. US Special forces shoot off more practice ammo yearly than the entire British, German, and French armed forces combined. Also, US Special Forces Commands get more funding than the British Army and Royal Air Force combined. I would also say US Special Forces are more capable. They can send in a unit trained at that task. Whereas the British would have to send in the SAS or SBS because they don't have special forces command that's versitle. SBS and SAS are versitle but not the best at everything. SBS is better at sea than the SAS. SAS is better in the mountains than the SBS and vice versa.
US Navy Seals are better in the water than the SAS. And SAS are better at the mountains than the Navy Seals.
I would say the CIA has the best special forces in the World. Black opps is no joke and they're the best of the best. Then they have to go through more training that the best of the best already went through. You also have to be asked to join black opps. You can sign up for the SAS, not the black opps.
while there is always inter-service rivalry, the Marines and the Navy work well together to accomplish their missions. The Navy also provides a great deal of support to the Marine Corps in the form of medical help, doctors, nurses, corpsmen, chaplains, JAG and liaison staff. And the Navy provides the ship transportation to land the Marines at their destination.
What do they train you in green beret boot camp?
US Army Special Forces (the Green Berets) go through the same Basic/Advanced Individual Training or One Station Unit Training any other soldier goes through. If they enter the Army as an infantryman, then go to Special Forces from there, they would go to Infantry OSUT. If they entered the Army as a cook, they would have gone through Basic and AIT for a cook.
You don't enter Special Forces straight out of Basic. You're first required to have been in service long enough to have made it to E-4, then you apply to attend the Q Course, which is the selection process for Special Forces. You can apply for the Q Course regardless of what MOS you held previously - infantry, medic, mechanic, whatever.

How did Stalin create a better military Force?
The use of the Blitzkreig against the Russians in WW2 was extremly effective. I don't for one moment suggest the Russians drew the Germans on into Russia just so they could counter attack after Stalingrad. But the fact remains the Russians best generals were General January & General February. They were better at surviving in the winter & were better equipped than the Germans. The T34 tank was at least as good as any tank in the war. The KV1 & KV 2 were effective against the Panther & Tiger tanks the Germans had. Most of all the Russians had resources which the Germans could not get to because of the depth of defence. Principally the Russians benefit from absorbing the Germans after years of retreat, and having masses of men that they can conscript. I don't think Stalin did create a better Military Force, neither better than the Germans or the Allies that arrived to the River Elbe in 1945. Hitler was defeated, at great cost, particularly in Russia, because of his own Military incompetance. Had Hitler been prepared to listen to the generals his single mindedness denied then the course of History would be different, but how different is another story..........
