How do you program a remote for 2000 Nissan Pulsar?

If it's a N15 then you put the key in the ignition and switch it to "ON" and then "OFF" five times, or until the indicators flash. Then press the button on the remote. The lights should flash when it registers the remote. If you have more than one remote, just press the next button and it should register it as well.

What is a pulsar?

A supernova leaves behind a tiny object termed a neutron star, which is far smaller than the Earth. It is the core of the star that exploded. The protons and electrons of its atoms have been squashed together by the force of the supernova, and they form the atomic particles known as neutrons.

A neutron star is unimaginably dense. It contains the mass of the Sun, but has that mass squeezed into a ball perhaps 20km (12 1/2 miles) across. Further, neutron stars are so small that they can spin very rapidly, many times per second or faster. When they spin they emit electromagnetic radiation which can appear as flashes from earth.

If the magnetic pole of the neutron star is "pointed" [See related link - Pictorial of pulsar] towards Earth, they are called pulsars, as they "pulse" as they spin and can be detected.

The flashes produced by the pulsars are detected as the electro magnetic radio waves caught up by the radio telescopes

The most notable pulsar is PSR B1919+21 with a period of 1.3373 seconds. When it was first discovered it was dubbed "LGM 1" for little green men 1, as the astronomers believed that only extraterrestrial life could generate such a precise signal.

See related links for more information.

The Pulsar is a car model by Nissan, but this question is in the Category of Astronomy, and its answer reflects that.

How do you know what is broken on a 94 Nissan Sentra with cable clutch when the clutch won't disengage gears and there is no tension on clutch pedal and heard a loud snap before tension lost?

It sounds like it is the clutch cable. I have a 94 Nissan Sentra and the clutch cable just broke. I have replaced one on an older Nissan, but it is still difficult for me to do on the 94. It is really hard to get the broken cable out.

How do you change brake lights on 2004 Nissan Pulsar N16?

Before you start, get the new globe/s. You might want to replace all of the globes whilst you have the light assembly removed and keep the ones that still work as spares.

Pull the carpet back in the boot and undo the 3 bolts that you can see holding the light assembly in. Then you will see there is a little grey plastic bit that seems to be the last bit holding the light assembly in, it is there to make sure the assembly is aligned properly and will just slide in and out. You have to pull the whole light assembly out to get to the globes, do this slowly and gently from outside the car, ensuring you do not break the grey plastic bit. The wiring loom is long enough for you to pull the assembly out far enough to get to each of the globes.

In the nissan manual it says "see your nissan dealer", very helpful indeed.

How do i Remove electric window on pulsar 1994 please?

To remove the window first depends on it being a front window, or a rear (front being alot easier). 1. First remove the door trim, (which is in another blog file already, but simply remove the screws in the handle, at the bottom of the door trim, and at the front and rear of the door trim, followed by the door lever surround - which simply unclips at the top and bottom. Then gently push it upward to ensure all screws and fasteners are undone, and it SHOULD lift out of the slot which the window goes in and out of the door.. BUT don't pull it too far away from the door as most will have wiring attached for the window switch and possibly a door open warning light. 2. undo the 3x 10mm bolts around the electric motor and loosen the 4x 10mm bolts on the top and bottom of the window guide (the sliding mechanism that the window travels up and down on, also known as a window rail i guess). 3. Next you have to turn the ignition on and connect the window switch again to the door wiring so you can wind the window down far enough to remove the 2x 10mm bolts attaching the window mounting base plates to the window guide. After you remove these you need to push/ pull the window all the way up and find something flexible enough to support the window in its channels and keep it there while you complete the rest of this job.. I used a piece of firm packing rubber in between the window and the window slot.. BTW, turn the ignition off so you don't flatten you battery! 4. now remove the 4x 10mm bolts holding the window guide and manouvre the guide and motor (after disconnecting the motor power wire) out the largest oppening in the door, ussually the back one. 5. Installation is the reversal of this but bearing in mind to connect all wiring connections and do not tighten the 4x 10mm guide bolts until the window can go easily up and down, as it needs to find it's correct guide position for the window to work smoothly.. Well, that is how i did it, as i have a N14 Pulsar Q and replaced the original non-electric interior with the Ti spec including all door wiring harnesses, electric mirrors, electric windows, door trims, door warning lights, and all the factory wiring and switches. Hope this helps... KEViN :)

What is wrong if your N16 has idling issues and stalls when stopped at lights?

It is probably an issue with worn valve seats sticking. I had an earlier model Pulsar and it had this very issue. I would drive it 50 metres up the road on a cold morning and it would just stall. It took about 5 months to find the problem.

How do you reset the sensor light after you change the O2 sensor?

If the car is an 87 Pulsar, the reset switch is under the kick panel (Plastic between the bottem of the dash board & the floorboard) on the drivers side. Take this panel off & the switch is a push button on the metal box. Push the button & check the sensor light. The sensor light may also meen it's time to replace the timing belt. Don't ask how I know this.

When does the timing chain need changing on a Nissan Pulsar 1.6?

If you change the oil every 10tkm (6tml), never; or if its noisy, meaning the tensioner is not doing its job (probably due to neglecting oil changes)
