How do you remove the hatchback of your 1988 Nissan Pulsar?

This is best done with two people, but it is possible for a Strong fit male to do. I would not try this if you are a female as it is heavy and awkward to move the hatch alone and you could easily injure youreself. First take notice of the two small covers on the outside top of the car just above the hatch. Now open the hatch and look to the spot where the small covers join the hatch. Each of these caps is held on by two Phillips head screws. Take these out, then carefully close the hatch but don't let it latch (its not a problem if it dose, but you will need to open it again later). The small caps will slide forward and then you can lift them up and off of the car. Set these aside for later. After you have removed the caps you should have exposed the nuts that are holding on the hatch. Now open the hatch again. At this point you will need two people or an extreemly strong head, neck, and back. With the hatch up, remove the gas struts supporting the hatch. At this point DO NOT LET THE HATCH CLOSE. Put a pice of cardboard over the latch and rest the hatch on it so it will not close. Now remove the nuts holding the hatch onto the car. If memory serves me they are 13mm nuts. After all 4 are removed, position one person on each side of the car. At the same time lift the hatch together and set it aside. Now if you want you can put the small covers back on the same way you took them off. To put the hatch back on just do those steps in reverse.

How do you replace the fuel pump in a Nissan pintara?

As the fuel pump is in the fuel tank, first you have to pull out the lower back seat, there is a panel near the middle under the seat so remove bolts and you will see another panel.Undo the bolts and remove the two black hoses that go into the panel [ you should have something handy to block the hoses as fuel will pour from them when you take them off the inlets].The fuel pump comes out easily and a new one slides in easily and reverse the process. [ when I did mine I needed to replace the gasket between the pump and the tank but just used a makeagasket which has held with no problems ] wasn't a hard job except the seat did not come out that easily. Good luck

How do i reset the airbag light on a 1995 Nissan maxima?

Follow this step by step...

1) Place key in ignition and leave drivers door open

2) Turn key until lights on dash come on, do not start engine

3) as soon as lights on dash illuminate press the door light switch (in door jam) rapidly at least 5 times, better to press 10

4) Turn key off, close door, start engine.

This should result in light being reset. If you didn't press the door jam switch rapidly enough or get through the sequence fast enough it will not work.

Why are Nissan Pulsar 2001 Q reverse lights not working. All other lights are working. Fuse is good as are bulbs. What else could it be?

I also own a Nissan Pulsar Q hatchback with the same problem.

One reverse light is orange, the other is white. The dealership when attempting to fix this problem assumed I had two white reverse lights so my car short circuited. I have been told for the orange light to work I have to turn on the headlights, (sounds a bit dodgy)

Not sure if it makes sense, but I hope it helps.

Which is better pulsar 135 or pulsar 150?

First of all, the main distinguishing factor between Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 135 is the cost.

Pulsar 150, as the name says, 150cc has more power, pick up and speed when compared to Pulsar 135.

But, pulsar 135 has also got the equivalent features of Pulsar 150. (Because of the latest technology)

In a nutshell, Pulsar 135 is a lite version of Pulsar 150.

And, my opinion, Pulsar 150 is better...

How do you define a pulsar?

How do you replace wheel studs Nissan Pulsar n16?

First off it involves pulling off the rear wheel hub or front calliper and rotor. I have been told that the studs are removed from the back by hammering the front of them with the hub/rotor off. I am unsure if you need to remove/stop the brake line. I would leave it up to a mechanic. That's where mine is going soon.
