Bad news it is in the fuel tank if your having problems check the fuse for it it is behind the glove box open it and on the top rightcand left corners are black rubber holders bend them down the way they bend and the glove box will openvand you will see fuses they it is a 20 amp fuse pull them and see if it blew do to old age. you need to remove the front right tire and the plastic shrowd in the wheel well you just pop out the plastic clips but don't break all of them or you can't put it back it back. The sensor is behind the harmonic balancer whichbis conected to the crank shaft or cam. You need to mark lines around the sensor there is not much room to work with since it is behind the HB. Remove the sensor and put the new one in and match it up with the marks you made so it matches the one you removed you want to match it as goodvas possible and that's it if you need pictures of what the harmonic balncer and cam position sensor looks like go to autozone.com and put the make and model in then look up the parts then go and look for the same on the car and do what I said people will tell you you need a tool to align the sensor correctly but if you mark it off and math it up really close you will be fine I have never heard of any problems when you do it with out the tool so Good Luck!!!!!!
