The clutch safety switch is located on the linkage attached to the pedal,approx. 6" up from the pad, however if your f-150 has cruise control,the cutout switch and the clutch safety switch are often a common switch(meaning that both switches are built into one unit) also you did not specify what year your truck is.with-out the year and the options I cannot tell you which wires you need to connect to by-pass the switch. Of course the switch was put there for safety reasons and should not be eliminated

turn the centre clockwise while applying pressure at the same time, their is a tool for doing this but I just use an old socket which I welded two peices of 6mm bar to the correct width apart so that they locate into the two small recesses in the centre of the caliper, you can then use an extension on your rachet to turn the piston of the calliper while pushing in on it at the same time.

I am pretty sure it has, since my Astra 97 has it too... (thoroughly tested this winter, works great :-) )

the fuse is under neathe the buttumn plastic behind the battery there is a big yellow fuse and a little fuse

On the Astra G (1998-2003) it is under a cover in the center console under the emergency brake handle.

Sure, if you change all four; the difference is about a quarter of an inch in diamater.

Yes you need a Torx bit to remove the sump plug. Also be careful when you remove the sump plug, there is a O ring on the plug that may fall off.

Oh by the way, alot of Astra bolts use Torx

(Many manufacturers recomend that you replace the sump plug & o ring)

Hold the speedo reset buton down when tirning on ignition after about 30 seconds it will reset.

The Fuel Pump Relay is at position 3 in the engine bay relay plate

I have heard quite good experiences with the astra 1.6 and 1.8 and no notable problems with the engine considering I come fro Kenya where drivers do not follow the service schedules keenly.

One notable concern is the ignition control module that replacement after about 60k. (symptoms are jerking and lack of power)

And then the timing belt. If it snaps, you are in for a big big surprise.
