How do you put together the marine corps dress blue belt?
you should have a brass buckle, one hook, two smaller brass "keepers" and one 2" white belt.
For starters the buckle goes on your right side. This will be obvious when You pick up Corporal, but its good to get in the habit now.
1:With the buckle face down, and slide the white belt into the bent-over tab with the hole.
2:slide one of the "keepers" down the end of the belt that just went through the hole.
3:fold the belt back over and run it back out the hole it came in.
4: repeat for the the hook side.
Its pretty easy once you get the hang of it. If this doesnt help keep asking and Ill give you more detailed instructions later.

How did the reform of the New Deal solve the problems of the Depression?
The New Deal was a complex economic package that Roosevlet jumpstarted shortly after the depression in the mid 1930's. Historians refer to it as "the 3R's": Relief, Reform, and and Recovery.
There were two waves of the New Deal. The first New Deal launched in March of 33, and it mainly focused on such groups as farming, railroads, industry, farming etc. It also dealt with bank reform, work relief programs, agircultural programs, among other things.
The second New Deal launched sometime between 34 and 35, and this included something called the Wagner Act, which promoted labor unions.
Probably what many consider to be the most important thing about the new deal was the Social Security Act, something that to this day still benefits our country's retired folk. Some other programs that still exist to this day are Fannie Mae and Securities and Exchange Commission.

What are the purpose of induction new employees in the organization?
The purpose of induction is to ensure the effective integration of a new employee into the workplace. As well as the usual orientation, a new starter needs to understand the business, where their role sits within the set-up and what's expected of them, as well as being quite clear regarding their terms and conditions of employment. A good induction programme should leave no room for confusion or lack of understanding and should, therefore, induce a feeling of 'belonging'. The employee should then integrate well into the team, have high morale, achieve optimum productivity and therefore be able to work to full potential. In other words - obtain job satisfaction!.

Why team work is important on an organisation?
Re: Discussion 2.2 - Work Teams
by MMM Riyad - Tuesday, 3 June 2008, 01:20 pm
Hi guys,
Today in the business area team work plays vital role and that is the topic most been discussed. Simply the organizations won't perform but the people. When it comes to people there should be a team individuals can't perform whatever they want in an organization they have to form a team and perform individually as well as teams. So when forming a team, organizational behavior influence's toward its success.
Organizational behavior integrates individual process, group process and organizational processes and further these are intergraded to psychology, social science, sociology and other facts. So a team in an organization reacts with all these factors that are why success of an organization always rely on teams. As a result of these we can see teams are formed in organizations to solve management problems as well as to be successful organizations in foreseeable future.
Teams always recognize itself as a useful machine in achieving organizations goals. This is because of its characteristics which influence the performance of the organization. We can see in a team there will be different members involving in working toward its goals. Here we can see different skilled people as well as different individual behaviors. Team work gives a synergy mixing of these people.
Likewise its unique characters outperform the individuals in an organization. Further it is factor to motivate employees through the team work this will ultimately result in high productivity. It optimizes the employee's talents and resources through synergy.
When it comes to decision making teams plays vital role since the team members has to participate in the decision making processes. This gives preference to the skilled members and a chance for the employees to optimize their skills and result in effective decision.
Further most of the companies today are project based so there project is divided based on teams rather than individuals. This helps the projects to outperform in the market especially we can see this in the IT companies. So this gives evidence toward an effective team performance.
In organizations today problems are solved and the ideas are generated through brainstorming. This is also a version of team which gives an efficient solution. Another team process is quality circles where there will be a team to check the quality of the products or the process. Organizations use this technique because of the effectiveness of the team work.
In point forms team is important in OB literature because it gives the following advantages as well as a direct link in determining OB.
•Effective communication
•Coordination
•Motivation
•Synergy
•Goal congruence
•Clearly defines responsibility
•Flexibility
•Clearly defines roles
This will result in progressive management for the foreseeable future.
Hence finally the above mentioned fact of a team gives clear evidence that it is a corner stone to the progressive management for the foreseeable future.
Totally agree
Waiting for others

Why is organization structure important?
Without organization, order and structure cannot be achieved. If in a system that relies on efficiency in function, and these are not achieved, kaos will prevail, and the system will break down. The importance, therefore, can be immeasurable to the success of any group attempting to function toward a single goal.
When was the triangle within a circle first used as AA symbol?
"Above us floats a banner on which is inscribed the new [July 1955] symbol for A.A.,a circle enclosing a triangle. The circle stands for the whole world of A.A., and thetriangle stands for A.A.'s Three Legacies of Recovery, Unity, and Service. Within our wonderful new world, we have found freedom from our fatal obsession. That we have chosen this particular symbol is perhaps no accident. The priests and seers of antiquity regarded the circle enclosing the triangle as a means of warding off spirits of evil, and A.A.'s circle and triangle of Recovery, Unity, and Service has certainly meant all of that to us and much more."

Disadvantages of wide span of control?
Reduced Supervision: With a larger number of employees reporting to a single manager, it becomes challenging to provide individualized attention and close supervision, potentially leading to decreased oversight of tasks and performance.
Communication Challenges: Effective communication can become more complex as the hierarchy broadens, increasing the likelihood of miscommunication, misunderstandings, and delayed decision-making.
Employee Overload: Employees may experience high workloads and burnout due to increased responsibilities, which can negatively impact morale and productivity.
Limited Development Opportunities: A wider span of control may limit opportunities for career development and mentorship, as managers may struggle to devote sufficient time to each employee's professional growth.
Risk of Decentralization: In some cases, a wide span of control can lead to excessive decentralization, making it difficult to maintain consistency in operations and alignment with organizational goals.

Mensa is from Latin, it means table.
other meanings can be found on the link below
As a point of clarification/expansion:
With regard to the Mensa organization, it is based on the "table" definition and the intent was to describe the "round table"-type inclusiveness of the organization where any person is welcome, regardless of race, sex, creed, etc. The only requirement being that a person is in the top 2% of the population in intelligence.
