I took a wood shop/ construction class all 4 years of high school and I didnt need to know anything about math except measure twice cut once. All you need is to take construction management, and that should take you from foundation through roofing, plus additional detail and codes for homes or buildings.

Once you graduate that is the time you can either go to College or take night courses and get information from Financial Advisors at any banking institution. Many people can do this on their own if they want, and can take the courses they need. You need to know how to run the restaurant, how to treat staff, what salaries to pay, what deductions, the Health Rules and Regulations (because your restaurant will have Health Regulators coming to check to be sure you run a clean restaurant.) You need a good gimmick to attract customers, good food, pleasant staff, and you present to greet customers (if you are going on the higher end of the scale re restaurants.
