What is a strong singing voice?
A strong singing voice is someone who has rehearsed and warmed up a lot or is somewhat a professional at keeping their voice together. When they do sing, it doesn't sound "airy" and that person can make loud notes without straining their voice.

Christmas carols were only fully popularised again during the Victorian era when they again expressed joyful and merry themes in their carol lyrics as opposed to the normal, more sombre, Christian lyrics found in hymns. As religious observances in the United States and England were closely linked the popularity of Christmas carols grew in both countries in the 19th century. Many Christmas traditions are relatively recent such as Santa Claus and reindeer and bear no relation to Christmas carols. What determines the volume of your voice?
Hey! Volume in a voice is all about breath support. The support comes from your diaphragm. Try this exercise:
1. Lay face up on the floor and place your hands on your lower abdomen.
2. Breath calmly in and out and feel your abdomen rise and fall.
3. Inhale, and sing a C.
4. Stand up and sing a C.
5. Apply the breathing technique and try the C again.
6. You should be able to hear a difference.
Another good way to produce volume is walking every day. Go for a walk and it should support your breathing better.
If your ability to hold a note is a tad challenged try moving your elbows backward a little to hold the note longer. Good luck!

suspsension is making a movement last longer. so for example i could say, in my dance i show suspension i our lifts so that they last longer and the audience gets to see and appreciate the whole action, it also makes the lift look more dramatic and gives the person that is being lifted a chance to stretch their arms and legs.
