While working with Polygonal Lasso Tool you will define contour for selection. Every time you click that will define point which will be connected with previous to create straight line. To Undo or delete last point defined press Delete or Backspace. You can delete only last point in contour but this does not mean that multiple contour points can not be deleted (only one, last point in defined contour can be deleted at time).

Basically there are no big difference, both tools work by selecting similar colors. Main difference is that Quick selection tool detects automatically edges based on similarity with color you clicked first and Magic Wand is selecting contiguous (adjacent) or non contiguous colors based on similarity of colors and settings chosen in Options bar (tool settings appears below menus for almost every tool when is active).

That depends on what you want to do with them afterwards.

Add to allows you to select area which will be added to selection (already selected area) and subtract is opposite: allows you to subtract portion from already selected area.

Fade from Edit menu allows you to change Opacity level and blend mode of layer after painting for example using brush tool or applying filter from Filter menu.

The stroke tool adds an outline to text, text boxes, or images. You can also specify the strength of the stroke in pixels.

Hold down Ctrl key and your cursor will change to white arrow, click on anchor point and move it, when you release Ctrl key your cursor will switch back to Pen tool so you can continue adding anchor points.

You can do that with Clone Stamp Tool, find picture with torn clothes, choose Clone Stamp Tool, Alt click on source image to sample then paint on image you want to change clothes.

Been there and done that, friend: my method is in two steps: 1. eraser at less thah 50% opacity over the source image and then 2.add the clone or healing brush to the fleshed area and paint over; but I am not yet 100% satisfied with results. Anyone else out there?

"Zone" 0? No, that is the blackest black that can be produced in a black & white print. The whitest white is zone 10.

You can add interesting effect to the picture with photo filter or remove color cast by applying photo filter of opposite color from dominant color which causes color cast.
