Application of tesla turbine to electrical field?
This Tesla CD Turbine is based on the Tesla turbine, which was invented by Nikola Tesla in the early 1900's. Tesla's pumps and motors were unique in that they only used discs, and took advantage of the boundary layer effect. His smallest designs were over 100 horsepower. It is referred to as a bladeless turbine because it uses the boundary layer effect and not a fluid impinging upon the blades as in a conventional turbine. The Tesla turbine is also known as the boundary layer turbine, cohesion-type turbine, and Prandtl layer turbine (after Ludwig Prandtl). One of Tesla's desire for implementation of this turbine was for geothermal power, which was described in "Our Future Motive Power".
Tesla wrote 'This turbine is an efficient self-starting prime mover which may be operated as a steam or mixed fluid turbine at will, without changes in construction and is on this account very convenient. Minor departures from the turbine, as may be dictated by the circumstances in each case, will obviously suggest themselves but if it is carried out on these general lines it will be found highly profitable to the owners of the steam plant while permitting the use of their old installation. However, the best economic results in the development of power from steam by the Tesla turbine will be obtained in plants especially adapted for the purpose.
They need to be able to calculate profits and forecast how well they think the business will do during the next year.
They also need to calculate the wages of all the staff each month.
Teachers
Teachers can use spreadsheets to keep track of marks given for homework and recording exam results and also for registers.
EngineersEngineers need to perform thousands of calculations when designing bridges, buildings, aeroplanes, cars etc. They need to make sure that bridges will be able to support themselves and will not collapse under the weight of traffic or the force of strong winds. They need to work out how deep the foundations of a house need to be in order to support the walls and roof. They need to make sure that the aerodynamics of a plane will enable it to take off and fly.
Sales peopleSales people use spreadsheets to keep track of the items they sell, the value of the items, the profit made on each item and more importantly, the commission they have earned! ScientistsScientists need to be able to keep track of their results from experiments. They use spreadsheets to help them to analyse what happened with the experiment and also to predict what might happen if they were to change one variable.
SupermarketsSupermarkets use spreadsheets to keep track of finances i.e. sales, losses and money spent. They also use spreadsheets to work out queuing times and what are the best number of checkouts to have open at any one time during the day.
Market researchersMarket researchers collect data from shoppers about their spending habits and their awareness of different brands. All of this data has to be collated and analysed in order to provide the company with a detailed report of what customers think about their products.accountants

Trees or other natural elements that are in their path. As well as trees and roots, bumps in the snow or ice on the piste can slow down skiers and cause them to fall.
How much money do sport scientists get a month?
Sports Engineers usually practice as mechanical engineers upon first leaving University, as such I would imagine they had salaries very similar. Mycareer.edu.au estimates that this salary would be on average around 112,500. SWWEEEET!!!
What jobs do scientist have for the Olympics?
Apart from the competitors, there are a whole host of people that accompanies olympic teams; including judges, medic staff, coaches (including dietary advisors as some teams even take chefs for their star competitors), and last but not least there are the country specific IOC members and country specific olympic committee members (i.e. the British Olympic Committee). Worringly there now seems to be a movement for the inclusion of sports lawyers to accompany teams (hardly in the ideal of the olympics).
How does the energy requirement of an athlete compare to a non-athlete?
In general, sedentary females from 19 to 31 age group consume 2,000 calories per day whereas males need about 2,400 but from 31 to 50 age group sedentary females require 1,800 calories daily and males need 2,200. the enegry of sedentary people is not utilized in work as they don't work hard so their energy is only utilize to sustain their internal body activities. Contrary to them, the ''athletes need'' more ''energy, ''vitamins, minerals and proteins during workouts. More protein is needed to rebuild the muscles ''between'' workouts. Therefore, ''athletes need'' more carbohydrate, fat and protein than ''sedentary'' persons, Mathematically, may be, 4 or 5 times more energy is needed to A athlete as compared to sedentary person.
Which scientist that studies planets?

Additionally, Madison's writings and ideas, particularly in the Federalist Papers, have significantly shaped American political science and constitutional theory.
How do scientist use observation to gain new understanding about the world?
Scientists use observation to gather empirical data about phenomena, which serves as the foundation for forming hypotheses and theories. By systematically observing natural events, behaviors, or patterns, they can identify relationships and anomalies that prompt further investigation. This process often involves repeating observations and conducting experiments to confirm findings, leading to new insights and a deeper understanding of the world. Ultimately, observation is a critical step in the scientific method, driving discovery and innovation across various fields.
What was the question sir isaac newton asked about the moon?
Sir Isaac Newton famously asked why the moon does not fall into the Earth. This inquiry led him to explore the forces acting on the moon and ultimately developed his law of universal gravitation. He realized that the moon is in a state of free fall towards the Earth but also has a tangential velocity, causing it to orbit rather than crash into the planet. This understanding was fundamental in explaining celestial motion and gravitational forces.
Why did most scientists reject Wegner theory for nearly a half century?
They rejected Wenger's theory for half a century because he didn't have the evidence to prove his theory
No, He did have evidence to prove his theory, they just did not believe him- TheSystem because of their lack of knowledge of the Earth
He actually had evidence, but it was actually because the hypothesis interferred with their own hypothesis about how mountains form.

Are discoveries in science always made by scientists?
By no means. Many scientific discoveries, particularly in fields of zoology and botany rely on the discoveries and observations of local natives. Case in point; Chimpanzee activists in Tanzania tried to educate local children about the chimps in the area by showing them pictures. The kids responded in terror, saying they steal and eat babies. The kids were right, but this flew in the face of what scientists believed at the time.
