This is a common stamp which is easily obtainable. No stamp in good condition is worthless to a collector.

Mint US stamps are always worth their face value if one can find use for them for postage.

The minimum retail price for single stamps varies with the dealer but is around 15 to 25 cents.

Common mint stamps retail for about twice face if this is more than the minimum.

As for selling common stamps-- dealers do not buy them one at a time. They get them by buying collections or accumulations of thousands of

stamps. They usually have all the common stamps they can sell because they get them along with the scarcer stamps.

These are Scott # 931 ( 2 cent) and # 933 (5 cents). Their catalog value is 25 cents in very fine condition. You buy one for around 10 cents from a dealer.

There were three 6 cent Christmas stamps. They have the Scott catalog numbers 1363, 1384, and 1414. They all have a catalog value of 20 cents, mint or used.

The ones with a flag are worth 34 cents. Additional postage must be added to make the current rate. They are good for US addresses only.

Yes, First Day Covers or FDCs, have some value. The picture or 'cachet' on the envelope can affect the value, some makers have limited runs and others are very artistic. Most FDCs can be purchased for a few dollars.
The rarety of the stamps can also have an affect. You can obtain further information by consulting a specialized catalog, there may be one in your local library.

The H series First Class Stamp is still valid for 33 cents worth of postage. So you would have to add 12 cents to it to mail a letter in 2012.
