Will homeowners liability cover wood damage from termites powder post beetles or other bugs?

Termites and InsuranceLiability insurance is coverage for occurrences in which you might be held financially liable. It is not possible to be liable to ones self. If your seeking coverage for a Wood Structure or Property you would look to a Homeowners Policy or some other coverage form in Property Lines.

If your a Pest exterminator by trade then you may look to a Commercial General Liability policy that will offer you liability coverage for the work or service you perform on premises and completed operations coverage for after the job is done.

Pest ExclusionsUnder Section I - Exclusions of your policy, it will explain that there is no coverage for damage due to rats, mice, termites, moths, or other insects (language varies by state), but there IS coverage for ensuing loss due to collapse of the building or any part of the building. Exterminators LiabilityThe only liability for damage due to termites would be found in a warranty policy from a pest-treatment company who has a contract to treat your home at regular intervals and guarantees their work.

What do house rats eat?

Rats are omnivorous, meaning they eat both plants and animals, including nuts, seeds, berries and human food scraps. They are natural scavengers, always on the hunt for found foods to eat, but they will also hunt insects, small frogs, and other tiny critters if the opportunity arises.

Rats are also very opportunistic and prone to living close to easy food sources, which is why they are a nuisance in urban areas where plenty of humans are already basically doing the scavenging for them.
almost anything, they feed from dumpsters
Things that fit in its mouth but for me I think it can eat anything.Did you know that one day at home I have seen the card already in a half piece and I have seen the rat eat it.
Rats are omnivores and eat a huge number of different things. Some favourites include: potato, chicken, carrot, avocado, banana, tuna and pasta.
Rats will eat almost anything! Special food pellets, called "lab blocks" have been developed by scientists and are available to pet rat owners, and these are the best thing to feed your rat. Scientists obviously want to feed rats the best possible food, so that the rats are healthy and not affected by nutritional problems that would affect the outcome of experiments.

Lab blocks aren't the most exciting thing for rats to eat though, so they like to have treats. And really, they'll eat anything, though they will certainly have preferences that vary from rat to rat. My two rats are brothers, and they still have different food preferences. They love lettuce, cheese, yogurt, beef, bacon, bell peppers, soy and regular milk, uncooked dried noodles, cherry tomatoes, nuts and seeds, any kind of cereal or bread, bananas... really anything. They aren't too hot on spinach or carrots, but I know other people have rats that love those things. I usually just give them bits of whatever I'm cooking, and you can tell what they like most by what order they eat the things in.

They also love to chew on paper, cardboard, plastic, cloth and wood... though you should be careful that they don't eat too much dye, newsprint ink, or paint, since that's obviously bad for them.

Rats shouldn't be given caffeine or too much sugar (too hard on their tiny little systems), peanut butter or other sticky foods (they can't throw up so if it gets caught in their throat they can't get rid of it), or citrus fruits (cause cancer in male rats). Also take care not to give them too many treats because that'll make them fat.

Please note - do not give them raw nuts, uncooked starch foods such as potatoes or yams (steam them first) or iceberg lettuce. These can be toxic to rats. Same for chocolate. Avoid giving them these. I found my rats LOVE rice cereal and baby foods, bell pepper seeds.. steam some liver too, they love it. Oysters. Yes, rats love oysters!
Rats can eat and digest various materials, from garbage to cardboard, thanks to bacteria in their digestive system.
If you'll eat it, your rat will. (Stay away from raw sweet potatoes/peanuts and orange juice)

Where do fat sand rats live?

They have a thick layer of fat that grows when they can find food, but when food is scarce they feed off the fat layer. During the coldest months in the desert (winter) they are active during the day, but during the hotter months (summer) they are active at night. Fat sand rats also have burrows that they live in. During the day in the summer months they retreat to these burrows out of the sun. They rarely drink large amounts of water. They get all the water they need from their diet of salt bush plants and leguminous plants or insects if they can't find the plants and from licking the morning dew.
