Who is the most unlucky man in the world?
I have three candidates, Richard Blass, Kenneth Andrews, and John Lyne. But i think Lyne is the most unlycky, so ill tell about him:
John Lyne was born with deformed lungs, drank a bottle of disiffectant as a toddler, fell from a horsedrawn cart on the way of a dilivery man, who runs over him, got struck by a ligtning while riding his bicycle, then almost drowns at the age of 14 in Bridlington, he walls from a tree-twice, and the second time he comes out of the hospital with a buss, its Friday the 13th day and the buss crashes, at his workplace in the mine in Hattfield Collirey, his work colleuges accidentally drop a bathtub full of rocks roght beside him, and after that, a huge pile of rocks misses him just by and inch. Then, a buss drives over him, he get electrocuted by a living cable while decorating his home, his plane is struck by a ligtning, he invivles two more car crashes, and at the age of 54, he falls in a pit at his workplace, and is not sure if he is capable of returning to work. Im not sure if hi is dead or not. If he is, hes the only surviving man on my list of three most unlucky men.
What is the job of the center mid?
The job of the center mid is to play the whole field. They go on offense and defense, but they must remember to stay in the middle of the field. If you have only three mids then they are responsible for the offense, defense, and the whole middle of the field. If you have 4 midfielders, then you usually have a offensive mid, and defensive mid. One playing more offense, and one playing more defense. Or you will have one playing right center and one playing left center.

In 1065 William was the Duke of Normandy and, as such, had to pay homage to the King of France. England was a rich country which could provide more money than a dukedom and, as king, people would be queuing up to pay William homage. It was certainly worth the effort.

Which king thought that he could stop the tide coming in?
If any King were ever that crazy, he would have been incapable of communicating the thought. Canute (or Cnut or Knut), a Dane who ruled England from 1015 to 1035, as well as Denmark, Norway, Parts of sweden, Pomerania and Schleswig, was a down-to-earth man anoyed by flattering courtiers who tried to tell him that he was all-powerful. To demonstrate that he was not, he had a throne placed on the seashore, sat in it, ordered the tide to go back, and duly got his feet wet.

What street cries were used in medieval times?
Street criers were often market works and tradesmen so they would sing chant and occasionally play music in the street. They did this to attract customers and get them to buy there product. You know the famous song "Hot cross buns"? Its one of the street criers songs. Street criers were different to town criers as town criers would announce the town news and stories and would shout and not sing or chant. I hope this has helped!

What was the reason for the Battle of Stamford Bridge?
The Battle of Stamford Bridge in England is generally considered to mark the end of the Viking era. It took place on September 25, 1066, shortly after an invading Norwegian Viking army under King Harald Hardrada defeated the army of the northern earls Edwin of Mercia and Morcar of Northumbria at Gate Fulford two miles south of York. King Harold Godwinson of England met Harald with an army of his own, taking him by surprise, unarmoured and unprepared1, after a legendary forced march from the south of the kingdom. According to the Anglo-Saxon Chronicle (SA 1066), the Stamford Bridge was immediately held by a powerful individual Viking who delayed the approaching English; he was finally brought down by a spear from underneath the bridge. This delay gave Harald Hardr$da time to form his army in a circle on high ground and let the English approach uphill with their backs to the river.1 After a stubborn battle with losses on both sides, although particularly bad for the unarmoured Vikings, Harald Hardrada and Earl Tostig both fell. The arrival of Norwegian reinforcements prolonged the battle, but in the end the Norwegian army was decisively defeated. King Harold Godwinson accepted a truce with the surviving Norwegians, including Hardrada's son Olaf and they were allowed to leave after giving pledges not to attack England again. This battle marked the end of full scale invasions of England from Scandinavia, and was the turning point of Viking activity in that area. King Harold's success was not to last, however. Little more than a fortnight after the battle, on October 14, after having marched his army all the way from Yorkshire, he was defeated and killed by Norman forces under William the Conqueror, at the Battle of Hastings. Thus began the Norman Conquest of England.
Where are castles no longer needed?
Well, they are no longer useful because modern weapons make the castles of old obsolete. We currently have weapons powerful enough to completely devastate an old castle, and everyone inside it. Or even bunker-buster missiles that could probably be adapted to pinpoint a specific area of a castle and take out a target located there. It would take a lot of resources, time, and effort to build a castle, and it simply is not worth it when the enemy can just bomb it into dust.
As to no longer being needed, we obviously do still have warfare in modern times, so they could still provide some (very limited) benefit. Some people still do employ underground bunkers to try to safeguard important personnel and/or resources. For example Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein was captured hiding in a small underground bunker not too long ago (ok, mostly a hole in the ground). And supposedly the US President has access to at least one personal underground bunker (not sure on how factual that is, but I would not doubt that at least one such bunker was built during the Cold War). And in World War II above ground bunkers were also often employed to try to give fortified positions a better chance to hold, as well as some fortified walls (e.g. the Maginot Line). Many more underground military installations were built during the Cold War, one was even built into the Cheyenne Mountain. That's about as close to castles as we usually get in modern warfare.
