A jolt of lightning is a sudden, intense burst of electrical energy generated by a thunderstorm. It is typically visible as a bright flash in the sky and can be accompanied by a loud thunderclap. Lightning strikes can be dangerous and cause damage to structures and harm to living beings.
Ball lightning is usually associated with thunderstorms, but lasts considerably longer than the split-second flash of a lightning bolt. Many of the early reports say that the ball eventually explodes, sometimes with fatal consequences, leaving behind the odor of sulfur. I think that when lightning flashes electric magnetic fields combine and get the end of the lightning bolt and curve it baking it into a ball. watch this video of ball lightning at www.youtube.com/watch?v=D4vV3KxQ16c

Meteorologists can predict when and where thunderstorms are "likely" but cannot precisely forecast their severity or persistence, as these are governed by complex factors including ground heating, topography, and variations in winds.
Do infrared waves have low or high frequency waves?

What type of energy source is hydropower?
The ultimate source of energy in a hydroelectric power plant is the sun.
The sun heats water and evaporates it. The sun also creates winds that blow the evaporated water around, forming clouds, and then the evaporated water condenses into rain which collects in bodies of water that are higher in elevation than the original water before it was evaporated. This difference in elevation yields a potential energy (simplified as p = mge, where p is energy, m is mass, g is gravity, and e is elevation) that is converted to kinetic energy as it decreases in elevation while going through the water turbines. That kinetic energy is then converted to electric energy as the turbines are used to spin generators.
