Transvestites are men or women who dress up to appear to be the opposite sex; there is purpose in transvestism (crossdressing) that requires intent. A man who wears women's jeans because they fit better and would buy men's jeans if they found some that fit is NOT crossdressing. A man who buys women's underwear when almost the same underwear but with a label "for men" is available especially cheaper, is crossdressing; it is the intent of "for women" to wear the other sexes clothes.

Now, it is possible to live in such a way where one is gender variant but who is within an acceptable amount of variance. For instance, tomboys are girls who like to do a lot of things traditionally done by boys, and the majority still grow up to be heterosexual and are accepted just fine among other women. In more modern times, there are metrosexuals, and these are guys who tend to care for their appearance more than other men, who might be "softer" in some ways, but may actually be heterosexual and content to be men.

If you consider transgender as something immutable, then a comparison could be made to race. Back during Jim Crow laws, there were African-Americans who were so light-skinned that they could get by with calling themselves white. That was illegal, but it did happen, and you cannot blame anyone for not wanting to be different from the majority if being different means persecution. So then, using this model, there could be a lot of transgender people passing as the gender that correlates with their sex organs.

In the U.S., it is legal, and there are many ways in which the government makes it convenient to legally change your gender. However, federal law in the U.S. does not yet protect against deiscrimination, and bills trying to change this have not yet passed.

I really hope this person is/was being sarcastic no wearing female clothing does not make you gay... it might just be something you like and if it is just keep doing it from what I know (and that's not much) your gay if you like other guys and your a guy. A transgender person might feel uncomfortable seeking services at a christian agency or one with religious affiliations because they are in danger of religious extremists and discrimination for things they can't control. I assume you mean Diane 35. It would, over time, certainly feminize the person. However, Diane 35 is not the best choice for transition since it contains one of the most dangerous forms of estrogen in terms of blood clots and liver damage. You should only take hormones under the care of a licensed physician.

Not all MTF want to be with other MTF. One stereotype is that all transgender people are homosexual. However, this is absolutely not true. Being trans is not in itself a sexual orientation. You can trans and be homosexual, but you could also be straight. You could like boys, girls, both, other trans people. It doesn't really matter. It's just like any other person, only in the process one wishes to actually be the opposite sex.

Well, a transgender man would be someone who was born female and has transitioned to male. It wouldn't make much sense for him to use the women's restroom. Someone born male who has transitioned to female is a transgender woman.

Effective July 1, 2007, the Iowa Civil Rights Act (Iowa Code Chapter 216) was expanded to add sexual orientation and gender identity to the list of protected characteristics. Transgender people use the bathroom which matches their gender identity.

its a odd question I know but its an odd situation. in my community I do a lot of running and I findit easiest and most comfortable running in tights only I got this bulge and people have been giving me nasty looks and when I stop or enter shops im told it disgusting and inappropriate ive even been kicked out of places. it was effecting myplace in the community. however now I have been using duct tape to push in my rod and tape it and I separate my hangers with tape and then put the tights on well it is now flat and looks like I have female parts however nobody says anything anymore and people have been nice.the problem is that the adhesive pulls on my skin and hair and leaves rashes so I went to koalaswim and they have clothes that do what im doing but I need tonow if they are any good so im not flushing my money away
