I'm sorry to hear your having second thoughts about your tubal you had like me, but there is a down side here, i have contacted medicaid and read on there website as well that they will not help pay nor will they pay at all to have your tubal reversed, sad but true since they cover it done they should cover at least part of it to reverse but they don't, the upside is to this that Newark medical center does offer the reversal in New Jersey and you maybe able to get it done using charity care straight from the hospital or if you can get your doctor to prove it is medically nessassary like for example it is causing changing that are hazzardious to your health then you may get it somewhere at a discounted rate.

also there is a slight chance if you have had your tubes banned that the bands will fail or if your tubes were cut like mine that they will grow back.

however if you do happen to find a place that does do it for little to nothing by all means let me know too i am dieing to get this undone!

A tubal ligation is a sterilization procedure. There are a number of differing methods; Pomeroy Tubal and resection, tubal with fallopian ring, a tubal with hulka clip, a bipolar tubal coagulation, a Parkland and an Irving tubal.

not likely will that happen.......doctor's these days perform better surgeries then they did back then if you had your tubes tied, cut, and burnt then you should'nt have that problem.

Anything is possible but there havent been many cases of this in the years they have done tubal ligation. Go back to that same doctor and have them test you and if you are pregnant, they owe you an explanation and some money....Good luck. Yes. My tubal ligation failed 6 weeks after the surgery. I had a hysterosalpingogram shortly thereafter that showed one tube 100% open. Regardless of whether you trust your physician, if you are in fact pregnant, ask for an immediate referral to another, impartial physician (don't stick with the original physician, which is what I did!). A reputable physician will understand, indeed, will be most concerned that you receiving optimal care. In my case, despite having a good prior relationship with my physician, this physician turned out to be both in denial and frankly dishonest once it became apparently that the surgery was probably, then definitely, a failure. I had a lot of trouble with my insurance company and in obtaining an accurate diagnosis as a result of this physician's behavior.

Because of your pat history with the tubal, its highly advisable you contact your doctor about the possibility of being pregnant and also have a blood test to confirm your pregnant or not. ANSWER #2 Stastically the younger you have your tubes tied the higher chance of you falling pregnant, mostly because the longer it is since your tubal the higher chance of your body repairing itself. women who have tubals later in life (over 35 for eg) are less likely to fall pregnant due to the fact that by the time the body could heal itslef, they would no longer be fertile. best thing to do is go get a pregnancy test and if its positive, have a scan to rule out the eptopic pregnancy. goodluck

it depends on your policy. for mine, once i met my $500 deductible (which is billed to you by whomever is doing the surgery) if it was an in-network provider it was covered 100%; out of network provider was covered at 80%. in-patient stay was a $150 charge on top of that and out-of-patient stay was subject to a $300 deductible. all in all i was pleasantly surprised, i didn't think it was going to cover ANYTHING---i can't afford the $5900 out of pocket cash cost for a reversal for but i can afford the $650 in-provider cost. I'm ecstatic. and the customer lady was REALLY nice, too.

I seriously doubt it. Tubal reversal is considered a voluntary surgery that is not medically necessary. The only thing you can do is call and ask them, but I am willing to bet they say no. Sorry if that wasn't the answer you were hoping for.

Allow me to answer from experience....YES IT CAN. The chance is very small, from what I've read in the 1-2% range, but I myself am a child of pregnancy after tubal ligation. My mother had her tubes tied TWICE. After my brother was born she had a tubal ligation. Six years later she found herself pregnant with me. Upon having her tubes cut and burned further, the doctor said he had no idea how that could happen as everything looked still separated. Of course, you have to take the chances into the proper context; HIGHLY UNLIKELY, but entirely possible.

You might have trouble getting someone to perform the operation. It's not life saving and it will put the operating staff at greater risk than for a patient that's not HIV positive. You should also consider the risk of transferring HIV to the baby, that is not something you'd want your baby to start out with.

they did an exray and found that my right clip fell off my tubiligation should I be worried?

I have also wondered this. I had a tubal in 2005 and have sometimes regretted it. I have looked on the web and have not found anything about free tubal reversals. I hope you find one and if not maybe God will take matters into his own hands and give you a child. Good luck.

You will need to get your medical records from the doctor who performed the surgery. The description of the procedure, including the method of severing the tubes, will be listed in your medical record. You can have the record forwarded to your new doctor, who will likely need to see all the information from your previous surgery.
