Do you have your fingerprints taken while leaving the US?
Not typically, no. They're taken for immigration into the US, but usually a passport is all that's needed. No, you will not automatically be fingerprinted. However, customs has the power to force you too. This should only happen if they are suspicious of you though.
Do homeless people get counted in the census?
Yes, though it is a very difficult problem to get an accurate count for obvious reasons.
Note that the U.S. census counts everyone in the area - permanent residents, temporary residents (though, they are asked to provide where their permanent residence is), illegal immigrants, homeless, etc.
It is CRITICALLY IMPORTANT that everyone answers the census. It's the ONLY way we can apportion representation and funding, so YOU HAVE TO BE COUNTED. Also, note that the Census does not(by law) share personal data with ANY other government agency. That is, any personal data will only be aggregated with others in large anonymous blocks to provide statistical pools. So, by answering the Census, you will NEVER have any of your unique personal data given to the IRS, FBI, INS, or other agency.

How much would The Six Million Dollar Man be worth in today's economy?
The answer depends on your own country's economic circumstances, but here in Australia the "cost of living" has increased by about 520% between 1974 (when the TV series began) and 2006. This is based on change in the Consumer Price Index, released by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
So $AUD6m in 1974 would have the same purchasing power as $AUD37.2m in 2006.
I guess you could say Steve Austin would be The Forty Million Dollar Man in today's economy.

Answer ==
Good stuff! According to the Inflation Calculator at inflationdata.com, inflation in the United States has increased by 346.24% between January 1974 and May 2007 (latest available at the time of writing). That would make the $6,000,000 man of 1974 the $26,774,400 dollar man today in the USofA.
Why do all articles on this site have to be in the form of a question?
WikiAnswers is a question and answer site. We have very carefully designed systems to enable people to find, exchange, and develop information in the form of questions. If we were just organized by keywords WikiAnswers would be a search engine. If we were just organized by free-form posts WikiAnswers would be an open discussion forum.
Are tourists counted in the us census?
No. Forms are sent to each household by the federal government or a census taker makes a visit. They get this information from social security and taxes for addresses. There are 2 types of forms. A long form and a short form. It is a federal law requires them to be filled out. They are really important because money and the number of Representatives for each state is determined by the census. The forms are pretty simple to complete and to mail back.

I'm not sure of "that one question" that would make you afraid to take the test to become a Census taker....
First, please Google Practice Test for Field Employee Positions -- it's a PDF in the #1 results list. There are also other web sites with practice tests.
Second, the test to become a Census taker asks many general, clerical, English language, and math questions. Most are multiple choice questions.
These are not in the test, but here are examples I've made up for this wiki question.
1. Add 1/2 + 3/4
2. What word (from a list they provide) has the closest meaning to unauthorized?
3. You visit homes with the last names of Auburn, Aburn, Abbure, and Abunre. Put each name into alphabetical order.
4. When you begin today's census, your car's odometer reads 9,975.1 When you end work for the day, your car's odometer reads 10,472.9 How many miles did you travel?
5. Would you "round up" or "round down" this number: 441.432
6. If Mr. Smith says he is 75, born in July, but forgets the year, what year was he born if it is now May 2010?
7. Odd numbered houses are on which side of the street?
8. If Mrs. Smith tells you the names of her "children" are Patches, Bingo, Blackie, TopDog, and 'Lil Babe and you see she has 5 dogs, what should you do?
9. What does "enumerate" mean?
10. What is or are the reason/reasons we complete the U.S. Federal Census every 10 years?
It might help to read some articles about the US Census to learn why they are mandated. Read the history of the Census. Know how the Census ultimately affects voting districts.
Brush up on basic math and word definitions (think Census).
Brush up on multiplication, and multiplying fractions.
And, relax... do your best... but don't get "test anxiety".
In Census 2000 what percent of respondents identified themselves as a member of a tribe?
79 percent all you A+ users! Haha, have fun!
How is terrell Owens doing after his injury Saturday night?
Terrell Owens will not play in the final game of the season against the Redskins on 12/30/07. No word on whether he will be ready for the Cowboys first playoff game which will be played on January 12 or January 13.
How often does a census occur and why?
In the US they happen every ten years as is required by the Constitution. They are instrumental in helping to determine the numbers of representatives that each state will have in Congress.
Yes, you are required to answer all of the questions. In addition to the number of people at an address, certain other demographics are necessary to determine things like number and type of schools, adequate hospitals and roads, etc. If you return an incomplete form to the Census Bureau, you will receive a call or visit from them.
