hi yes you can, took one out today 2001 mk 4 z16se engine drain, hoses off loom is a pain lots of it, mark if not sure, radiator fan off, gives you a bit more room to move, exhaust manifold off,leave gearbox as it is you dont have to touch it, good news!!
carefull with fuel inj pipes and pipes from heater matrix tricky clips, starter comes out when loom released, hords of cable ties to renew on reasembly, but plenty of room to move engine away from gearbox to lift on block and tackle, tight to come off box, prize gently on jack after removal of belhousing bolts and engine mount from chassis, out it comes, not a bad job to do, use waterpump plyers to remove injector connections gently, and reversal to install, hope this was of help. john r

P1113 Port Deactivation Position Sensor Circuit High Voltage . (as per TIS) there are 2 possible codes one for hi volts and one for lo volts, check all your wiring and the connector on the B1_Y21B Sensor - Twinport Position

P1113 code Vauxhall, I have this as the Port Deactivation Position Sensor.
This is a 3 pin sensor mounted to the inlet manifold twinport rail so the ECU can determine the flaps position.
The sensor is tucked up under the manifold and is a little tricky to get to.
It is also essentially the same sensor as the TPS used in older pre-electronic throttle control Vauxhalls such as single point injection Astra-F and Corsa-B models.
Not had one fail yet, but of course it could be at fault.
I have seen the wiring for it chafed through on the actuating rail from poor LPG installations, including the standard Vauxhall conversion! If fitted.
I would also be checking for seized/worn flaps or rail disconnection.
Incidentally, the lower inlet manifold section (incorporating flaps) comes with a pre-installed sensor.
The sensor is mounted at the opposite end of the manifold to the actuating solenoid but it is not clearly marked.
When ordering don't be surprised that it is a complete manifold that they offer you, complete with everything. Not sure of price but I think it's around £80.00.

there is an arrow on the crankshaft inner pully which lines with a notch on the engine block. Once you have lined this up you will see to engraved lines on both camshaft pullys which line up. The left hand camshaft mark will be a the three o clock position and the right hand at the nine o clock position. you can use a plastic tool to lock the camshafts but if your carefull you wont need it. Make sure to replace the water pump when doing the belt its recommended.

b4 paying out to have this done which vauxhall dealership will charge you either halfhour or an hour rate....plus a charge.... get in car close door put key in ignition and turn ignition so instruments light up (do not attempt to start) when in this position press the lock function on your keyfob doors should lock and then press the open button...door should unlock...turn off ignition take key out get out of car and try...... not guaranteeing this will work for your car but worked for my vectra 51 plate.......
