Fuse on your window wiper keep blowing as soon as you put the ignition on i have a 2 liter vectra?
Anytime a fuse "blows" is an indication of an electrical overload, including a short circuit.
When the fuse failure is instantaneous upon turning the electrical power, indicates a direct short circuit. A short circuit is a condition where a "hot" conductor [wire] comes into direct mechanical contact with an object [another wire, a metal case, etc.] which is connected to ground.
This is true regardless of where the electrical circuit is located [i.e., your home, vehicle, boat, or whatever].
When a short circuit exists, there is ONLY ONE fix, to remove [or open up] the direct contact between the involved "hot" conductor [wire] and the grounded object.
To do that requires carefully checking every inch of the circuit [including connectors, switches, and the electrical devices served by the circuit] to find the contact point between the hot conductor and the grounded object. If all external wiring is free of shorting, sometimes shorts can occur inside connectors, switches, and devices.
Once found, the shorted contact point must be seperated, and the bare, exposed metal surfaces must be insulated to prevent future contact.
What is wrong when my engine turns over but won't start won't start?
you might have bad coil, spark plugs, wires or a dead battery ar bad starter? try some different things.
First thing first, Check the basics, Check to see if you have good spark, fuel at the fuel rails when the key is on an air coming in the the motor, Make sure a rat nest or something isint blocking the air from getting into the engine, If its not getting fuel, check to hear your fuel pump an how much pressure you have at your rails, if it doesint have spark then check your coil or timing belt
It PROBABLY means a problem with the charging system. Take the vehicle to a local auto parts retailer, such as Auto Zone or Checker Auto and have them connect the charging system diagnostics. If it's not the charging system, the computer is telling you that SOMETHING is wrong and you need to check the computer to see what it is. Borrow, rent or buy an OBD2 diagnostic code scanner and see what it says.
its your engine management light it means there is a problem with a sensor most commen faults are air mass sensor, cam shaft sensor, crank shaft sensor, egr valve or idle speed contral valve hope this as been helpfull!

How do you change the side indicator on a 2002 Vectra new shape?
Think these are the same as on the astra. You need to be a bit gentle to avoid breaking the clips.Push the whole lamp(try towards the rear first)until the small "barb"clip clears the slot and allows the lamp to swing out at one end. Then the lamp will come free.Just pull out the bulbholder and replace the bulb. Its a 501 capless type. Then simply clip the lamp back in,large clip first.
How do you change water pump for Vectra 2.2?
1. Hold the Water Pump sprocket in position using the aperture
in the front cover.
2. Remove:
a. Upper Timing Cover
b. Manifold Heat Shield
c. Oxygen Sensor Wiring Harness Plug
d. Auxiliary Belt
3. Release water pump drain plug and drain.
4. Disconnect wiring harness plug from temperature sensor
and remove water hose from thermostat housing and heater
hose from the radiator.
5. Remove from water pump.
6. Remove the water pump service hatch.
7. Attach the Water pump holding tool (Laser Tools do one, as do Snap-on)with two of the service cover bolts in the outer slotted holes.
8. Secure the tool to the water pump sprocket using the 3
internal bolts.
9. Tighten to ensure tool is fitted securely.
10. Remove the bolts holding the Water Pump to the sprocket.
The engine timing is maintained as the timing chain is
securely fixed to the pump sprocket.
11. Remove the Water Pump.
12. Replace the Water Pump, refit the bolts retaining the pump
to the sprocket and remove the holding tool.
13. Re-assemble components in reverse order.
How do you change drop links on vauxhall corsa?
Failure to do this could result in injury as the link rod will be under tension, and will almost certainly "fly apart" when removal is attempted.
That said..
They are held on with one nut at the top, and one nut at the bottom.
Remove the nuts, and the link rod should just lift out. It might need a bit of "gentle persuasion" due to corrosion. Re-fitting is the reverse of removal.
Make sure you use new nuts, and tighten to the correct torque setting.

if the alarm goes off and the electrics on the key wont stop it - don't panic at the racket - but simply use the key and manually unlock the Vectra - then put key straight into ignition; alarm may stop at this point but if not then take tyhe last step needed to 'cut it' and merely turn on the ignition/start the car with the actual cut key.
What does P0202 Cylinder 2 Injector Circuit Open mean on vauxhall vectra b?
P0202 relates to the fuel injector on cylinder No2.
The code SUGGESTS that the injector has no electrical power to it.
These work on a constant 12V feed and the ground is supplied by the ECU by a predetermined map.
i.e. open circuit = no complete electrical circuit.
The most effective way of checking this is with an oscilloscope.
A multi meter may not capture the power at the correct time due to the slow refresh rate.
What is the meaning of multitask?
Multitasking allows more than one task to run at the same time.

How do you replace the headlight bulb located on a 2003 Vauxhall Vectra 2.2dti?
Having just completed this exercise on a 2.5 V6 97 Vectra I would like to add the following tips. The bulbs are little devils to get hold off due to the lack of space and light inside the bonnet. So when dealing with the main beam pull out the side bulb and turn on the side lights. This will give you some light in the tight space. Before you undo the spring clip, attach a piece of fairly rigid plastic tubing (about 6 inches long) to the bulbs terminal. Make sure that the tubing is a firm fit, then undo the clip and withdraw the bulb using the plastic tube. This should insure that you don't drop the bulb into the headlamp cover or the car's floor pan like I did. Also notice which way around the bulb is located i.e.: the bulb flange is "D" shaped and can only be fitted one way round. Use the plastic tube to grip the terminal of the new bulb and guide it into the bulb's headlamp slot. Make sure that the flange is located correctly with your fingers, and then apply firm pressure to the tube to hold the bulb in place and relocate the spring clip one side at a time. The covers on the back of my headlights were just made of rubber and just pulled off rather than screwed. The job is awkward and more touchy feely than seeing what you are doing, but it two bulbs can be changed in under an hour
This varies slightly depending on what side you are changing. i.e off side or near side.
If changing near side( side where battery is located) you firstly have to remove the fuse box which is fastened onto the battery carriage by sliding it upwards. This will give you easier access.
Next remove the plastic cover that is covering the back of the headlamp by turning it anti clockwise. You should now see the back of the headlamp which has a two pin plug connector attached to it which simply pulls off.
To remove the bulb itself you will have to remove a small spring clip which holds it by pushing it towards the front of the vehicle and then push it to your right this should then fall away and let you remove the bulb.
When fitting the new bulb it is just the reversal of the above only it can be a little tricky trying to lock the spring clip back into place. A small mirror would help if you have one.
Also take care not to touch the glass on the new bulb as this will damage it.
.
Or just take the car to your Local dealer. A good Vauxhall dealer will replace them only charging for the bulb, just like I do.
