Which type of language would be most appropriate for the wording of a wedding invitation?

Generally, the accepted language for a wedding invitation is formal. If the wedding is going to be less formal, then the invitations should follow that example.

If you're got married in court but later want to have an actual wedding is that possible?

A Civil wedding, performed by a Judge is legally recognized by your state, however, it may not be recognized by your church. A religious ceremony can be performed by your religious leader(ie. priest or rabbi) at any time as long as you have a wedding license. Most religions are happy to marry you within the religion.

What is the return time on a reply for a wedding invitation?

Anything less than "As Soon As Possible" is a bit rude, particularly if the wedding affair is to have meals and drinks provided.

However, things get past even the best of people, and there is bound to be confusion in the larger weddings. It's possible they mailed a reply, and it was lost. A simple call to the non-responsive guest should clear up the matter nicely.

One need only call and say, "I'm sorry, but things have been so hectic here! We can't find your reply to our invitation! May we still hope to see you?"

Get a job and keep it, learn as much as you can so you can progress both in title and income.

Stay off drugs and other partying.

Live within your means ( I know all those new cars and furniture look wonderful but until you can afford them it is unwise to use credit when you are starting out )

What are the best man's responsibilities?

Answer

The best man's responsibilities go well beyond throwing a memorable bachelor (or 'stag') party and giving a toast (speech) at the reception. As best man, you may be responsible for any on the following:

Prior to the wedding

  • Attending all pre-wedding parties, including the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.
  • Dealing with tuxedo fittings for ushers and groomsmen.
  • Picking up the groom's formal wear prior to the wedding.
  • If it's a less formal wedding, what exactly are you expected to be wearing?
  • Giving and organizing the order of toasts at the rehearsal dinner (not just the reception after the wedding)
  • Confirming travel arrangements and payment of caterers, officiate, etc. for the couple on their wedding day

At the Wedding

  • Bringing the groom to the wedding, assisting him getting dressed (in a manly way, of course), and making sure all items are returned to the groom's house and/or the tux shop afterward.
  • Being in charge of all ushers.
  • Carrying a copy of any seating plan for the ushers' reference.
  • Checking that the men's boutonnieres are being worn on the left lapel, stem down.
  • Making sure the wedding officiate is paid.
  • Making sure the groom has the marriage license.
  • Signing the marriage certificate as a witness.
  • Keeping the bride's wedding ring until it is time for the groom to place it on the bride's ring finger.
  • Standing next to the bride in the reception line.
  • Organizing the groomsmen for formal photographs.
  • Performing any task or errand the groom or the bride's mother may request at the ceremony.

At the Reception

  • Being the first at the reception in order to welcome the bride and groom.
  • Being seated at the head table or a table of honor.
  • Being the social lubricant to help guests who may not know one another mingle comfortably.
  • Dancing with the bride and with the maid of honor. He should also dance with both mothers and as many people at the reception as possible. No joke.
  • Beyond giving his own toast, being in charge of reading messages to the couple from those unable to attend the ceremony.
  • Being in charge of gathering the single men for the tossing of the garter.
  • Insuring that the couples' suitcases are loaded into the get-away car.
  • Verifying that the groom has all tickets, hotel information, traveler's checks, and all he needs for the honeymoon.
  • Making sure all ushers' and groomsmen's formal wear is returned to the tux shop. If the groom's attire belongs to the groom, making sure it is all cleaned before being returned to the grooms' house.

Expenses

  • Paying for formal wear and accessories.
  • Paying for all travel costs.
  • Giving both a shower gift and a wedding gift
  • Carrying all costs associated with the bachelor party (I recommend sharing expenses will all present except the groom. See Bachelor Party section for more on this).

Other Stuff

  • Ask if there will be any other duties assigned to you that may not be on the lists above.

What is the ideal height difference between husband and wife in terms of good looking?

There is no 'ideal height.' It's whether you love that person or not. You can have very tall men with very short women; the woman can be quite a bit taller than the man. Example: My husband is 6' 6" tall and I'm 5' 6" tall. Love has everything to do with it and not height.

What is a sketchy person oor a sketch bag?

Saying someone is sketchy means they are superficial, incomplete. Meaning they are not a finished product in the same ways that a sketch provides an outline of a piece of art or drawing, but not the refinement and details. Calling someone sketchy is generally a perjorative, definitely not a compliment.

i dont really know but i would like to know ! answer it people:)

A sketchy person is someone who does seem to have heightened brain function but not in the intelligent sense. They try to connect dots or real life with things they have heard from other people, seen on television, or read. The dots don't connect because sketchy lacks completeness. They lack fine details and therefore are in a never-ending loop of senseless thought. Calling someone sketchy is considered a derogatory word cause it does make the person realize what they are doing, being sketchy, eventually making that person feel stupid or not intelligent and therefore they are forced to stop the sketch which ruins their "hi". How sad for them. Once a person becomes sketchy they need to realize that its time to stop and go to sleep and stay away from what ever substance they are using that is making them get that way. Being sketchy is not a good thing that is a fact. The best definition for a person who is sketchy would be: a person who is irresponsible, untrustworthy, devious, thief and any words related to these.

What is an aisle violator?

an aisle violator is one of those things that shoots out from the shelf in the grocery store.

generally they have like a special advertised price or something like '50% off' or those little coupon dispensers at the end of them.

in a sense they do exactly what they are named ... they violate the space generally considered the aisle between shelves.

Hope this helps.

How do you lace up a ribbon on the back of a wedding dress?

* It depends on the designer of the wedding dress. Sometimes the ribbons are criss crossed much like you would do on laces on your sneakers or they may go side to side. The best thing to do is go to the shop you bought your wedding dress at along with your Maid of Honor and have the shopkeeper show the Maid of Honor how to do the ribbon on the back of your dress as that is part of their job.
