What should you do when you press the button to start your PC and it does not start?
Assuming that your PC is a desktop the first thing that you should do is check all of your power connections. Make sure that your PC is securely plugged into a wall socket or surge protector and that your power cable is securely fastened into the rear of your PC. This selector switch, if you are in the US or Canada should be set to 115. A couple of items to check is to verify that when you press the power button on the outside of your PC is if any LED's flash or light up. Also, one other item to check is when you press the power button is to check and see if the power supply fan (on back of PC located near power cord) spins briefly or if it spins at all. If none of these items are occurring than it may be that your power supply has gone bad. One other slight possibility is that the wires connecting your power button to your motherboard may have come loose or have a short in them. I hope that this helps.

To do this you need to reduce the "My Documents" window by clicking on the center box (double window) in the far upper right corner. Then you place the mouse cursor over the folder you wish to move, click and hold down the left mouse button, then drag the folder to the desktop (now visible since you have reduced the window), then let go of the button to drop the folder on the desktop - simple as that!!
If you just want to create a shortcut to the folder (on the desktop), right click the folder and scroll down the list and select "create shortcut".
