When i looked into it, it seems that clicking on the alt button recently highlights the "File" menu, so what you could do is click in the middle of the page you are browsing (as when u do so to be able to activate the page up/page down) and then it should not highlight file and open the definition box instead. (Inconvineint, and might need to do it every time, but should work!) Just click anywhere in the page you are browsing, then point the cursor to the word u are seeking & then alt-click
